I have recently been introduced to Village Pine Gunsmith shop. I love how it is owned and run by someone who is so knowledgable and genuinely interested in everything surrounding his craft. I had to wait for an order to be cleared for about an hour and got to spend a bit of time learning about WW2 knives and see how they were and are made in Napal today, the genuine article that is amazing to watch how each one is a monumental task for a very talented man to make by hand. The owner (Kevin) now keeps some to view for special ordering for interested people and I surely became an enthusiast and am getting one of these (Gurkha Authentic Hand-Hammered Kukri Knife) made just for me with a cpl personalized specs, that will take a few months. My point is, Kevin took the time to notice my interest and educate me on an incredible piece of history and culture that I had no idea about until I spent a little time in his shop. Now this is my new hub for all things in this field. Long may it flourish! It's nice in this consumer age from the internet to have shops like this still around that are the genuine article.

I brought a revolver in to Village Pine the second week in February to have some tune up work done. Specifically to have lighter springs put in, the action polished and a new front sight put on. I checked once a month on the progress but he always had more work ahead of my gun. Having not heard from him I stopped in the 3rd week in May with the intent of picking up my gun one way or another. He had not touched it in the three and a half months it sat in his shop nor did he offer an explanation or attempt an apology. Only “ sorry bout that”.The work was not difficult, looking at U Tube I should be able to do it myself except the front sight. I brought the gun to Village Pine looking for a good gun smith. Sadly I'm still looking.

Dropped off my 1911 to have new sights installed. Kevin did a great job and had it done exactly when he said it would be done. Highly recommend Village Pine!

First time at this location.Came in to get some sights on my pistol swapped out.I was almost immedietly greeted when I walked in.They immedietly went to work on swapping it out. Both people there were friendly and welcoming in the store. Not much as far as firearms for sale. But, they have all the standard replacement parts and upgrades for common guns like ARs and Mosin Nagants. One of those places that you know you are paying a little more to make sure it's done correctly. I also called this location a couple times before going to ask some simple questions about pricing. They answered every time I called, and was also friendly over the phone.

I brought my Glock 17 in to get a minus connector and the trigger bar polished. They had it done within the hopeful time frame between 3 gun matches, and at a fair price. When I picked it up I brought my own case with me, paid for the service, received my firearm, tested the trigger pull (which was far better than stock), cased it up and took it home.It sat in my case until I took it out this morning to shoot a match and on the first stage I went to fire my pistol and it just clicked. After the typical tap rack pull method being done many times I had to call it and take a terrible score. After finding out that the primers were not even being struck I disassembled the slide to find that the tip of my striker was sheared off.I went in today on 5/17/22 and to be honest was expecting some resistance, but to my surprise they were understanding and more willing to fix it. I am a very pleased and happy customer and will recommend these guys any time.

Kevin did a great job with my ak pistol upgrades. I’m very satisfied with his work and he’s my go guy. It took a bit but it’s definitely with it.

Picked up a transfer and left with a hand full of other goodies. Crew is friendly, knowledgeable and plenty of facial hair. Cant beat their rate. My new home.

Its easy to give 5 stars when everything goes right. I had an issue and the company not only fixed it, but made sure I was satisfied. They really earned their 5 stars.I had 2 sight replacements, front and back on a pair of Beretta pistols. The finish got messed up on 1 of the 2. The marks were on the slide. They volunteered to refinish the slide, whatever color I wanted to make up for the issue.It turned out so well I had them do the rest of te gun.A big thank you to your company for standing behind your work and making it right. I had not planned to refinish the gun but they did great great work. I highly recommend them and would use again

Needed help with a seized choke tube and this shop quoted me half the price of a local competitor. The technician was friendly and had the issue resolved in 5 minutes. Would recommend!

Great experience with Village Pine CG picking up my handgun that I ordered online and had shipped to Village Pine. Very helpful in instructing me how to fill out the forms and gave me an introduction to my new handgun as well. Much appriciated, very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to doing business with VPCG in the future.

My new favourite shop! Very busy, get your parts in soon. Speaking of parts, I could spend thousands of dollars here. Way more than you think and at a reasonable price.
