The folks at Wells Fargo in Hopkins MN wouldn’t deposit my check even with valid ID & debit card as proof of person. I’ve deposited checks made out to just my first name many times and have been banking with Wells Fargo since the 70s. Never have had such poor service than at this branch. Took the check to Minnetonka and they deposited it for me. Unbelievably lazy, lack of knowledge and an unwillingness to help their customers at the Wells Fargo in Hopkins.

Connor Lynch is a mansplainer. I know he does not talk the same way to men. I don’t like Wellsfargo, but I still have it for Zelle and have used Wellsfargo since I started working at 16. I know exactly how things work! For some reason, this guy had to explain how cards work to me MULTIPLE TIMES. I don’t want to have a card because I don’t like Wells Fargo and I don’t want to use my checking account for this bank. I have a different primary bank account at a bank that is not for profit. Straight away I let the tellers know that I do not have a card and that I have other forms of ID and my pin, etc. so that they know that I’m prepared. I don’t think this sit well with him he asked if I had my card downloaded on my phone to verify my identity. I thought that was weird because I’ve never been told to verify through my phone. He just could not get over the fact that I don’t have a card. But anyway, all I use this account for is to transfer money and I take it out in cash which I do at a Wells Fargo branch maybe once every few months. It’s never a big deal but for some reason yesterday, Connor had such an issue with me doing this. Mansplained how Wellsfargo cards works many times. I had to be like “I heard you the first time I understand.” but it makes me not want to go there and be helped by him. They also acted really crazy when I tried throwing away a withdrawal slip because I messed up on it. They would not help me until I found it crumpled up and gave it back. Insane. Also, they support the Dakota Access oil pipelines which are faulty and pollute some of the cleanest freshwater in the world.
Even though mansplainy Connor is there, I refuse to be encouraged into going somewhere else, this is the closest bank to my house so I will update this review page. Next time I go in to see if things are different with a different teller. I just don’t like feeling like they think I am trying to do fraud or that I’m up to something sketchy because I don’t have a card. If I get this feeling again, I will do another review.

I've had a frustrating experience with Wells Fargo. Their customer service has been consistently unhelpful and slow to respond to my inquiries.
The fees are also a major issue; they seem to have a fee for almost every transaction, which really adds up over time.
Recently, I had a problem with unauthorized transactions, and the resolution process was incredibly drawn-out and complex.
Overall, I am very disappointed with their services and have switched to another bank that values its customers more.

Had a fantastic experience at this location. There was no line and plenty of parking available at 12:30 in the afternoon. I needed a cashier's check and Nicole got it sorted out for me in about 5 minutes. Thanks Nicole! ?

Drive thru is closed at the moment. Hope this isnt the norm at this location. Should change their dri e thru hours if they will be closing earlier than the posted 5pm closing time.

Trying to get a cashiers check..they told me no because I’m not a member, then I asked to open a checking account and they told me “no because there’s only 15 minutes before we close” - good business model ? and the woman was rude as hell

Anyone that's looking at Reviews for this Location make sure to also check how long it has been since those Reviews have been posted, maybe they were short staffed or maybe there are new Employees working there since then. I've never had such a pleasant Banking experience, I rather drive 15 minutes to this location than around the Corner to the closest one to me, on Experience only. Cheryl Deserves to be Recognized, she goes above and beyond & She knows her stuff. She answers all the questions before having to ask, she's on top of it all. She is very Personable it doesn't feel like you're at an appointment, more like sitting and talking with a Friend. This is one Employee worth having! 10/10 if anyone has any Banking questions or needs, I highly recommend her for that! Thank you very much Cheryl ?

Don't go here. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER BANK. For years Wells Fargo has shown that they are a company that does not care about customers and are looking to rip them off at every chance they get. They will gladly take your money but when you try to get it back it is as if you need to beg for it, your own money.If you open an account after hearing about this, you are not a victim you are the problem. Avoid Wells Fargo at all costs for Banking, Home Mortgage, personal loans, business loans, or anything else they may want to "loan" you money for, it is simply not worth the headache that will follow for years after.

I am still sitting in the drive through waiting for the teller to get my 2 simple deposits done correctly. I have been sitting here for 25 minutes. He messed up the deposit, even though I clearly explained how to make the deposits, had a deposit slip and he is still trying to figure it out. I do weekly deposits and have never run into this level of incompetence. The teller does not speak English clearly at all. I will not be returning to this branch.
