I have been going to V Nails for more than 10 years. When I moved to St. Paul, I tried many other salons because the drive to Hopkins was so far. That said, I wound up going right back as I have NEVER found another salon that takes this much care. Ann is wonderful. Anna and Diane are also amazing! The whole staff is very welcoming.
Best nail salon in the Twin Cities, hands down!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I get my nails done biweekly or sooner and got a pedicure and manicure last week with my normal salon. I was rushing for my trip and came in for a color change on my feet and a manicure on my hands… let me tell you, nothing about this manicure was normal from the cuticles to the painting of nails, many steps missed. The lady was also combative about everything and made me feel uncomfortable. I asked for a milky French manicure and she gave me thick nails with many coats, different nail shapes on every nail, thick French and uneven with some straight and some curved and the paint looking uneven and blotchy. I started crying. My international flight was right after and I will have to go have it removed when I land. On top of that they charged me about $90 (not sure how that math works) and gave me a coupon to come back (why would I come back after this). I WOULD NOT WISH THIS SALON ON MY WORST ENEMY.

Few months ago I scheduled dip manicure with the manager of this salon.But she only filed the nails and applied nail polish without cutting the cuticles.She was in rush.And yes shoulder massage was 20 seconds. I left this place very disappointed,didn’t want to argue .They don’t care.And of course I didn’t give her any tips.

So impressed! Service is top notch. I had a last minute nail crisis before a vacation and they squeezed me in, and Ann made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend and will be back!!!

I wish I could give no stars. My grandmother, mother, and aunt all go to this salon and have for a couple years but after today, they all three have agreed to NEVER go back. I called way ahead of time asking if they could get me in for a full set (I’ve gotten my nails done for 20 years but just moved) she said yes no problem. I get there and they clearly have no time for me. She went between me and someone else and rushed through my service. She originally went to go put tips on my nails and they were yellowish and curved, I told her I want the straight tips and she said we don’t have that-cool then I just want a gel manicure. She was done in 10 mins. I had to ask her to fix the filing on several nails. Then the paint job was so rushed, not to cuticles or edges, and completely see through. THEN as I’m finishing, another customer sits next to me and GETS STRAIGHT TIPS!! I could have died!! They give massages at the end of the service and she did a shoulder massage for 20 seconds (no lie) and no lotion/hand massage. I cannot even believed I paid but I just wanted to get out of there before causing a scene. DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE A NEW CLIENT!! They do not care!!

Rough and painful - the brushing of skin on top of my foot was too rough and my cuticle also got nipped and bled. The tech apologized but it would have been much better to focus on smoothing heels than top of the foot.
Unprofessional and concerning - some customers were being greeted with a warm welcome while others were not. Also, it was clear to everyone that staff were talking/whispering about some customers (happened to more than one customer during the hour I was there).

i am not one to usually write a review or complain. I went in for a full set, henry was the one doing my nails i had to switch what i want after he did the wrong shape then all of them were different lengths and shaped differently he then proceeded to not even fix the paint towards the end clearly being able to tell i was unhappy with my nails. I paid $60 and left with my nails bleeding and hating them while he was being careless and rude the entire time

Came here with my mom, sister and brother in law. We all got pedicures and they were fabulous! The women here are fantastic. Definitely my new nail salon!

Ann knows all of her customers and is the most welcoming owner. I moved farther away but never go to anywhere else!
Stylist: Dien is the BEST at gel manicures!

First time was great! Super friendly staff, offered tea to drink. They asked if I wanted a design and I said next time. I went the next time, it was busy. Not as friendly.No drink. I asked for design and they said they didn’t have time. I got the upgraded pedi the second time and I just felt eh about it. Maybe I’ll try an appointment next time and see if that helps.
