Horrible experience my mail is on hold so I should be able to pick it up I wish I got more help from the staff as they are very rude. I called first as it is a long drive to just pick up mail. I was hung up on several times and was told I can't speak to them from the restroom I was in due to excessive noise inside the mall I was in so I ducked into a restroom to make the call. I was yelled at by staff at the post office on the phone. And in person when I got there in person I was yelled at and I left in tears. I would recommend Hopkins fire all staff and start all over especially the supervisors as they are rarely available and always unaware of what's going on. I rate this a zero if I could.

10 people waiting in line with only 2 of the 4 windows open. Then worker #2 takes a break!! Typical Hopkins post office! Pitiful! Something needs to change or they might as well close

Now I know its my responsibilty, but these folks can't even give a courtesy piece of tape to wrap a bag.. a bag. Had to pay for a while roll. Just petty for no reason.

I was in and out on a Thursday afternoon. Not busy at all. The self service boxing system was awesome, very quick. I would bring your own sharpie for the boxes though, the pens aren't great and it's hard to write on cardboard. Took me about 5 minutes! Desk people were helpful and quick.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just spoke to a woman that was not only rude but giving incorrect information. I wanted to ask about picking up a package because it's live chicks. I gave her the tracking number and she proceeds to tell me rudely multiple incorrect things. 1) That the person has not sent the package. WRONG. I can literally check the status online and it has left the destination. 2) That the automated texts I've received from the USPS are scams and that don't even have texting and she's "worked there for 10 years". Um, yes the USPS literally allows you to sign up for texting and I have used many times. I am sure there are many scam texts related to the post office. But they have a legitimate texting service as well which is what I am dealing with.
All I wanted to do was discuss picking up the package instead of having it delivered. This employee was absolutely terrible.

Waited 15 min with one person ahead of me because even though there were 4 people in the front only one person was assisting customers. The other three were chatting and didn’t acknowledge me or the long line forming behind me. No sense of urgency whatsoever.

I was forced to go to the post office by the fact that my mail had been incorrectly forwarded. No there was no forwarding on file the mail person just decided to forward my mail....to no where. After waiting 45 minutes to try to talk to somebody who could maybe catch the mail that has been forwarded to nowhere and returned to sender before leaving Minneapolis-Saint Paul, they were able to tell me that since it had already been starting on the return there was no way to save it. However during my time waiting, 3 people attempted to help me one of which went to go get a manager who was yelled at by said manager and came back in tears. This employee clearly shaken by her experience from her manager tried to help me again by taking my name and number. This was a very kind move on her part as I was waiting with two small children.
At some point somebody came out and told me I'm sorry for your wait but I have no idea where all the supervisors are. I will say the front line employees did a wonderful job trying to help, but obviously the management needs some serious training. If they're yelling at their employees to the point of tears that is unacceptable.

I wanted to give a shout out to our postal carrier Spencer. He is always so kind to all of our residents and even takes the time to learn all of their names and communicates in their preferred language when he can. It gives that human touch that you want in your post office worker. He clearly has respect for the residents that he delivers to and that instils confidence in how mail is being carried.

Had the wrong zip on my envelope and the DEI hire told me it was wrong and "I had to start all over" instead of looking it up for me and helping me to finish my business at the counter. Fortunately I knew the correct zip and corrected it so I didn't have to wait in line another 20 minutes. The clerks need to be more helpful and not so racist.

Extremely poor service, only 1 clerk at 2:40pm. No flat rate boxes available, hardly any parking available. Will not be returning to this location.

Post Office is always underwater a.k.a. always drowning in packages not being delivered very rude staff, including the manager, which is a disgrace to the United States post office.Just saw the short counter woman throwing packages 6 feet across the counter into a package bin with no regard or empathy towards the packages almost intentionally trying to break what’s inside of them.

The slowest PO I have ever been to! There seems to be only one person working most times, and the workers will disappear for 5-10mins without acknowledging people who are waiting. Even when there is a line there is no sense of urgency whatsoever. I wish this was not the closest PO to my place because I wouldn’t come here if I didn’t have to!
