“My 99 year old father in law sells his Antique Treasures here almost all the sellers are who are the workers there they each work 2 days per month when selling goods at this store... so if you get a bad experience with a worker mostly they won't be in there the next time if you try them again! Most of the people selling in there are Antiques Themselves! Nice people and caring you can offer them less it never hurts to ask. It's Great they have this place to keep them busy and memories of times gone by”

“Talk about a hole in the wall, a hidden gem, or a diamond in the rough! I love thrifting and checking out all the places to do so when visiting a new town. If I were to come back to the twin cities, I would be sure to stop into the Cat and the Cobra! Locating the store was a little harder than anticipated. It is in the back of the parking lot behind the locked door, but it is the first door inside the building. Not to mention the cool vibes and architecture of the building. I highly recommend walking around and checking it out. There was an amazing selection of any article of clothing you were looking for. I would say the majority of the items were typically priced. Some articles hanging were a little overpriced, but the best part was the bins in the back of the store! I found two shirts in the bins that were $5 each! It was a STEAL of a deal for vintage t-shirts in the condition they were in. I got one ESPN shirt and a Strigus 2006 shirt. Not to mention how fun it is to shift through bins to find those hidden gems of shirts. In addition to a more expensive rainforest cafe t-shirt that was hanging on the walls of shirts. Overall, the service, selection, and value of the store and its articles were top-tier for vintage thrift! I highly recommend stopping in!”

“I love visiting here, the Arc Value Village Bloomington. I love looking at the shoes, the puzzles, the peripheral of the store. I'm not one to look at the clothes necessarily. I love the office supplies, and Knick knacks. It is interesting that I was just at Arc Value Village Richfield earlier today, and they're greeting cards were only $0.25 each , and I came down here to Bloomington Arc Value Village and their greeting cards are 3 for a $1.99. I took several pictures to let you enjoy what I saw today, February 29th, 2024. Leap day! Everybody was so nice at checkout, the gentleman put my basket away for me. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards, it's just with your phone number! After so many points you do earn a $10 off reward! And you can increase that reward by donating bags or boxes of clothing or whatever you have to donate!”

Even my less vintage-inclined friends were impressed with her incredible design knowledge and the vision she cast for modifying each piece to create my own personal aesthetic. She was so fun to work with! Shopping through their selection does require some imagination, but as someone who loves envisioning possibilities, this was half of the adventure. “This is my number one favorite retail store in the world. They are picky on what they take, so they always have nice stuff. Prices are very reasonable. This is a large store. Stuff turns over pretty quickly, so don't wait to buy something you like or it will disappear. If my wife were to throw me out, I'd probably furnish my new place here because I've seen lots of neat furniture that would have been more expensive new than I'd be willing to pay.”

“I absolutely love this location for both purchasing and selling items. For starters the staff are amazing when it comes to helping find what is needed and welcoming you into the store. I almost did not go due to the reviews but given my past experience in a similar industry I know that when people don't get their way they try to sabotage places. I am happy I chose to go into this location. It has a wide selection of clothing and even when the staff are extremely busy they still welcome customers and help them find things when needed. While I was there someone became rude to a staff member and despite this customers attitude the staff remained professional. I will be continuing to shop at this location it is clean and a positive environment. The staff all seem to get along and work together.
When selling to the location the staff are quick and accurate with timing. I brought in multiple bins and they purchased a lot of the items and explained to me why they passed on the rest. They answered all of my questions that I asked and were very transparent about the way that they priced the items.
Don't let the negative reviews of Karen's push you away from this Once Upon a Child. This was the best experience I had at any of the locations I have been to. I almost did and I am happy that I didn't and chose to give this place a try.

“Pink Elephant is not only easily the best of the four antique/vintage stores on Main Street in Hopkins, but also is easily one of the best in the Twin Cities.
Not the largest, it's absolutely packed with quality goods. Its collection gets updated often enough it's a treasure hunt every time I go in. Plus the folks that run it are welcoming and fun.”
