Just had breakfast here the Chicken Suqaar and it was awesome! Very flavorful. I had it with the Malwah and somali spiced tea. The tea in particular was out standing a sweet chai. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Give this place a try. Can't wait to go back.

Nobody else has said it so I'm just gonna come right out with it. This is the best food on Hopkins mainstreet now. I love eating here. I grew up in Hopkins and am very glad to see such a great place here! If you're not sure where to start, try the Sambusa. Also the breakfast you can probably eat it for lunch if you're from the USA.

I stopped by for the food not realizing both the grocery store and the eatery shared the same location. Overall I think it's well stocked. Bought my favorite spice, berbere. Smells fresh and reasonably priced. Will have to come back to checkout other offerings.

I went there by accident yesterday. When I went in, I have never seen such a welcoming, clean, organized atmosphere. Allahuma Barik. I ordered meat, food and tea. Not only were these gentlemen professionals and kind but they helped me by bringing my things to my car. I loved. What grasped my attention was the historical African decor with proverbs from my childhood stories and slangs. Amazing and beautiful. I can go on and on!I will be back and send everyone I know there. Allahuma Barik Laku????

Yay! This is exactly the kind of restaurant / food store our area needed! We ordered a dine-in meal and also bought some groceries. Among other things, they have really good-looking rice, spices, dates, tea and coffee, and biscuits. For our meal, I had the shakshouka with malawah (Somali-style pancakes) and my husband had the Buskati with rice. Both meals came with really yummy sauces, and we were pleasantly surprised that my husband's meal included a juice (there's a choice of mango, Vimto, and guava juice). The in-store dining is casual: bar stools and a counter looking out onto the street. Fine by us --sometimes quick and easy is just what you need, especially when you're catching a movie, are on your lunch break, or are running errands. Now to what matters most: the food. Delicious!! My malawah were so good that we ordered another four to go. They're basically like crepes -- delicate, flavorful, and slightly sweetened. The kind of treat I'd say yes to any day. My husband really liked his beef, which looked like a pretty fresh, lean cut and appeared to have some kind of spice rub on it. His rice was amazing; spiced with cardamom, I think. We also got a bag of mixed homemade cookies. The one we tried before even leaving the place was like a shortbread with coconut in it. I often have to go across town to get the spices and dates I like, so I'm so glad this place is just around the corner. We'll definitely be back for dinner too, especially since the manager was all smiles. What a great addition to Hopkins!

Nasir and the team were welcoming and the goat, chicken, rice and samboosa from Geri Grill were awesome. Great addition to Hopkins Main St. I’ll be back for more.
