On Saturday May 18th at about 330 pm I was at Hinckley Dollar general. I always have friendly service at this store. That was not the case today. The cashier just rushed me only and didn't give me a bag for my water bottles. She just seemed angry and just shoved the bottles forward and offered no bag. Please give your cashier's a extra break so they aren't so cranky

Staff members were not friendly. Aisles not stocked. Not stocked items littered through the store. An employee had their child with them acting unprofessionally. Scolding her child publicly.

I generally enjoy the dollar general, it's a great place to pick up nessecities and an occasional gift. Recently they had al these signs on summer merchandise that said 90% off. I chose a few items as I thought it was a great deal for stocking stuffers. At the register when the price was more than expected lady told me it was buy one get one for 90% off and that the signs said that. I declined my sale purchases and went back to look at the signs. None of them said anywhere " buy one get on at 90% . The only sign present anywhere was 90% off. I politely suggested to the cashier they might want to update their signs. She was kinda impolite in her response. However not really her problems. They should not bait people with signs that ate not 100% transparent. In the past the sales signs have always been correct. It's annoying to spend the time picking out items and then the price not being as advertised.

The employees here are very helpful and friendly. Caleb is a very nice, and helpful, and considerate young man. Its refreshing to see people such as he in todays day and age. Can't say enough good things about him, just always a pleasure.I would rate this DG a five star, but they seem to lack supplies often. Well done on the always very nice employee hires. Caleb, however really goes the extra mile every time we visit the store.

Des, the manager,went out of her way to arrange online purchase pickup. She , along with the other staff, was very friendly and nice. You can tell Des takes pride in her job by her attitude and disposition. Keep up the great work. It is hard to find anyone that is, exceptionally, helpful anymore in the retail industry. dp
