What happened to this place????Closed now on the weekends without telling anyone.Closed now at 6 PM on weekdays. It always used to be kind of decent and convenient, but now it's gotten AWFUL.They wouldn't/couldn't fill one of my prescriptions because they were "out of stock" for ALMOST A MONTH.I just spent an hour on hold to try and fix an insurance issue and they HUNG UP ON ME because it was past closing time.Unbelievable.

Called three days in a row only to have no one pick up the phone after 25 minutes of waiting.

This place is terrible, very understaffed. Long waits, won't answer the phones, won't fill some called-in prescriptions until you "call" (aka stop in because they don't answer), and now they suddenly are closed Sat and Sun with nothing posted.

Don't bother trying to use the website to schedule pickups. They don't actually use that system. I scheduled in advance and waited all day and night after that time with no update beyond the status of it being marked by an employee as being prepared. I finally just came in to see if there was a technology issue, but no. Was told to wait half an hour at the store because they're just now going to get it ready because I came in. No one is waiting in line. There's no one getting prescriptions the whole time I waited, but they're apparently backed up all day and night with unfulfilled prescriptions. Walgreens, hire more employees and stop using this online scheduling system that is useless and gives no notice of what's happening with delays.

The pharmacy line takes forever, if you have two cars in front of you getting their script - prepared to sit for at least 20 minutes. Not not t mention how long it takes for them to fill the script, 3+ days and then I get a notification after they are closed for the day saying my script is ready for pick up. Time is not of the essence here, be prepared to wait for your medication. I suggest ordering it a week ahead of time

How in the world is Walgreens going to have a medication for acid reflux and on the side of it it says tips and managing heartburn if overweight lose weight excuse me but that is very discriminatory and they should not be putting things like on that on there and on top of that that would insinuate that only large people have heartburn issues and that is false advertisation I know people plenty of people that are smaller and have the same issue they have no business ever making these sort of comments it is so disrespectful and makes people feel worse about how they look some people can't even help it might be because of a medication even that you might even possibly sell

Literally was on hold waiting to speak to a pharmacist for over 25 minutes today. Took them over 24 hours to even come close to filling my prescriptions. They’re still not filled and they didn’t use the right insurance either. This isn’t the only Walgreens to do this in fact. So I will be taking my business elsewhere. Perhaps Hy-Vee can be more professional. Don’t hire kids with no experience to do the job of an adult on their own. At the very least make sure they have proper training and someone there to help them when they don’t know what they’re doing or are running into problems. I’ve worked in the medical field for a long time and with the girl I spoke to yesterday…. Well, it’s dangerous to have someone who is inexperienced dealing with the communities medications, money, insurance etc. This company should be ashamed of itself.

I have got to say, this is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. To start, I've been getting my perscriptions here for over three years and over the course of three years I've run into numerous issues. I have come here on a sunday just to be told that no employee 'showed up' and thus I couldn't get my medication. They have issues in which case they never answer their phone. In fact, I've tested it out and called from inside wallgreens and they completely ignore phone calls! I have finally made the switch to my local hyvee pharmacy because this is atrocious and according to a pharmacist at Hyvee, they have had issues reaching hilltop's wallgreens on the phone as well. Make the switch. Worst experience ever.

If I could give no stars I would. Have been in Columbia Heights for 22 years and my husband has used this pharmacy for the entire time. I do not use this pharmacy because of their practices but because he has been there for so long and the fact we live approx 1 mile from there he stays with them. This is the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been in. The worse part about it is they know it and could care less. During the height of the pandemic they used that a a reason to be unorganized and slow. So many issues not enough lines to post them all. Just to hit a few issues, revived the wrong prescriptions three times, waited over 2 hours multiple times for service, called prescriptions in at 8 in the morning and at 5 pm never ready and asked to wait again. They always have the drive thru closed stating phone not working. Went today for a prescription that was called in 4 days ago to be told by a rude person after standing there being ignored for 6 mins while she typed her report that they were still working on it. Really???? And of coarse the sign was up saying to go inside the phone in the drive up was down. I have cancer and did not really feel like going in. My husband had a prescription he has taken for 15 years that they kept saying the Dr would not renew. He went without it for 2 weeks when the Dr verified it was still an active prescription. Finally it was refilled. It really goes on and on and just without a doubt the worst place ever. Do not go there. Go to another location

I have had many problems at this particular Walgreens store. Last was I went to pick up my insulin and it says nine on the package yet it only had three in the package. I also use a libre freestyle sensor. I have had two that it went bad on me. Thanks Chuck D.

Worst Walgreens I've ever been to, always have a problem at the pharmacy. This time they had a sign on the drive thru window that said they were only doing covid testing at the window, but you can't see it till you drive up and have been waiting in line for 30 minutes. I went inside and not once did they do any covid testing while I was there through the drive thru

DO NOT GO HERE! We escorted our family member here for their SCHEDULED Covid booster shot. This Walgreens set up the appointment online. After arriving early (but having to wait in a long line), we were informed that they "stopped giving out boosters at 3pm today" There was no further explanation, other than "you need to go back and get ANOTHER appointment". Wtf Walgreens! How about a big apology for screwing it up BIG TIME? We will not be using any Walgreens ever again (including prescriptions or any other service).
