Phone communications is nearly impossible. They divert you to their call center which is likely somewhere offshore. Your call is screened until they figure out that you do indeed need to talk to someone at your local Sams Club and they will connect you directly. The whole process takes about 20 minutes longer than necessary, all this just to set up an appointment with their tire center. Sam's should just hire a few more workers at their Duluth store to answer the phones. Hiring Americans is good for business and good for the country. Getting information or communicating with your local club should not be so complicated and time consuming.

Sam's Club has always gone the extra mile for me. I had a problem today with the Customer Service Department, which is not located in the Hermantown store. Although I spent 40 minutes on the phone speaking with 4 different people and was hung up on twice, the Supervisor called me back and helped to resolve my concern. This really meant a lot to me. Thank you, Sam's Club. I appreciate the fact your managers can acknowledge when something goes wrong and do what you can to make it right.

My elderly dad, bless his heart. Wants a drink every now and then. I've accompanied him into the liquor store area of this place before, never an issue. Today, Jun 17th, 2024, they kicked us out of the liquor store after iding him and I although he was the one making the purchase. I'm a bit younger than 21, however, I feel I should be able to walk an old man in to buy a drink. It's his right after all. Poor service at the checkouts as well today. Stay away from this one. Company policy will end up company defeat. Blonde skinny lady that works in the liquor part should review customer standards better. Only thing I can think of, is she's racist- I was never id'd in this part till I wore my mille lacs band sweater. Tribal members please steer clear unless you want to be harassed for doing as our creator called us to, by helping our elders. Sad day for this place.

I was at the cafe in Sam’s club Hermantown. I asked the lady, which pizza is the freshest. She said we have been busy so most of them are fresh. There was a fresh pepperoni one so I asked for a fresh piece. The other lady came up and tried to give me one that looked dried out. I said, if possible I would like one off of the fresh pizza. She said, we have to serve what’s here first. I then told her that I didn’t want it then. She got in a bad mood. She gave me the fresh piece but almost tossed it to me across the counter knocking over my empty soda cup. It made me feel unwelcome. The cashier was extremely nice. But, don’t know if I wanna go back there to eat.

It's pretty standard. I wouldn't buy your produce here though. The selection is always terrible and half rotten already. Waste of money and food.
Edit: My partner just tried the Nature
Ripe blueberries and said they were the worst blueberries he has ever had and I have to agree. They are too big and since all the flavor is in the skin they are basically just mush balls with no taste. Yuck.

I absolutely loved the Sam’s Club! It was very clean and organized! The selection was very large and they had the best seafood and fresh/ready to eat section I have seen so far! The gas station was even better with no line which I have only seen once before!

The carts need to be fixed. People stand in the entry trying to find one's that roll. Come on sams oil them or have a service do it.

I placed an order for an item that had a $50 instant savings. After I placed the order, I saw that I was being charged 6.94% sales tax, when the sales tax for my state and county is only 5.5%. I was being charged sales tax on the full original price of the product, instead of the sale price, and I was also being charged sales tax on the shipping amount, neither of which is taxable. I contacted Sam's Club and went round and round with support and had to talk to 2 different people. They had every excuse as to why they overcharged me, but I am an accountant, so I know what is taxable and what is not, but just to be sure, I checked the sales tax document on the State of Wisconsin website and found that sales tax is charged on the final sale price of an item and not the original price as Sam's Club tried to tell me. Shipping fees are never taxable. After about an hour of my time, they told me there was nothing that they could do until I actually received the product and I that I could call back then and they would credit me. That wasn't going to work for me because I was not going to spend another hour on the phone trying to get credit and then be told that they would not do it. She could have issued me the same credit today that someone else can a few days from now; she was just trying to pass the buck onto someone else and make sure that the sale went through. Then she came back and said that she would give me a one-time electronic credit, but I only order from Sam's about once every 5 years, so that just wasn't going to work, but I told her if they could put it on my Walmart account then that would be OK, but they couldn't do that either. Then I told them to cancel my order that I had just placed within the hour and she couldn't do that either and told me that when I get the product to just refuse it. Well, that was not going to work for me because then I would still be charged almost $10 in shipping fees plus the tax they charged me on it, in addition to return shipping costs, and probably a restocking fee too. Then the girl I was talking to just disappeared and never came back again. So then I disconnected the chat and went to my order and clicked the cancel button and it canceled my order, so she could have just canceled my order when I requested her to do so, but again, she was trying to trap me into completing the order and making it so I couldn't get a credit for the taxes that Sam's Club overcharged me. I don't like unethical companies that overcharge their customers so that they can rack up an extra few dollars of profit from all their customers and I don't like customer service people who tell me that they cannot cancel my order just to make sure the sale goes through so that the company makes money on me either way. There was no reason in the world why she could not issue a credit directly to the credit card that I had just used to make the purchase. If Sam's Club overcharges every customer this way, imagine how many millions of dollars they profit by doing this. At this point, I am going to my Attorney General and filing my complaint, because what they are doing is illegal and very unethical. If I could give Sam's Club zero stars I would, because that is what they deserve.
