The Sanke Pit in the basement of A World of Fish is a really neat place to take your kids. If they are interested in snakes and reptiles. They have everything from snakes to an alligator and everything cool in-between. My son was able to hold his first snake ?

Top notch store for all your aquarium needs and you can tell they really care and know what they are talking about.The owner was super friendly and helpful. I bought an assortment of different beautiful shrimp and a few mystery snails. Will be back for more plants and shrimp soon! Thank you!

Had an not so great experience the first time I went but the 2nd totally made up for it and then some. Kids absolutely loved it, they loved holding the reptiles and learning about them was a bonus haha.

Actually visited the Snake den in the lower level. The owners were amazing very friendly and very knowledgeable. Made us feel like family even though we were there for the first time and only there for like an hour

Came from Two Harbors to get a female Electric Blue Acara got there at the time they advertised they would be open sat in the car for 30 minutes waiting. After a hour we left a waste of gas and time.

Only reason I'm rating 3 stars is because a couple times when I've been there I haven't been able to purchase the fish I wanted because either it or others in the tank had pretty bad ich. I will say though, every fish I have ended up purchasing has absolutely THRIVED. The otocinclus I've purchased were all fat and sassy already (which I don't usually see other places where they usually look half starved). Purchased a used tank and stand only to find the center brace was broken out when I got home and the tank was bowing when I did a test fill. I don't fault the store for it though. It wasn't obvious and they probably didn't even notice like I didn't. Easy fix though with a simple wood clamp though it was disappointing. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Got a fairly high grade male betta that I'm excited to pair with my female. Prices are more than fair and selection is fantastic. I drive two hours to visit here and it is definitely worth the drive

Good selection of healthy fish, knowledgeable staff, and the owner will willingly special order fish for you. My only complaint is that the store isn't always open when the sign on the door and online information says it's open. This gets quite irritating after driving nearly a half hour to get there and even an hour and a half after the supposed opening time, no one's there and there's nothing online to say that they're going to be closed.
