as a new denizen of hastings-my initial observation is that while this location seems to have the same/similar assortment of items in stock etc-when they invariably mark prices down or put items on clearance-they virtually never have prices marked on them?! whole display racks with no pricing...not on the items, not on the rack-nowhere. i can't imagine how much time this wastes for proce checks etc and i imagine stuff clearly marked would obviously sell much faster-isbt this basic blocking and tackionmg-price your items for sale-clearly marked? come on-you can do much better....

Removed self checkout conveyer! forced to use small 20 item or less counter( no available help) with over $400 worth of groceries! no conveyers no help! poor management, not thinking of customers at all moving things around to different locations in store. Cub or Coburns here I come!

No problems (normally) at this Walmart... but... the other day my wife and I were checking out at the self-checkout and had some wine, which has to be okayed by an associate who checks your id when you scan it. After looking at my id, the associate turned to my wife and told her he needs to see her id also; That it's a new Walmart policy. After we left I wondered what happens if my wife didn't have her id with her or what happens if someone is shopping with their underage child when they buy alcohol. This policy of checking everyone who is with someone who is buying alcohol doesn't make much sense. I hope the associate was misinformed and that management will let him know that only one person needs to be checked when they are buying alcohol and not everyone in the shopping group.

Where do I even begin? It's a terrible place. If you need help, good luck finding anyone to help you. If you do find someone, good luck not having them laugh in your face and tell you no because they're clearly having a conversation with another associate and it's rude for you as a customer to interrupt. If you look anything less than 100% white you will be followed and have them breathe down your neck while you browse, check out, and as you leave. The employees also make rude posts about customers and how much they hate them on the towns Facebook group and the store totally condones it. The produce is always rotten and the shelves are never stocked either. Your best bet is to go to another location in a better town like Eagan

First time here. I never shop at Walmart. I left a baseball game early that was at the high school. I found Stalekraker's hot and regular Cajun 2 step seasoning. Better than ordering online. Found a pork butt, Robert Irvine Protein bars, sugar free jello and a few other items. They actually have records, LPS, or albums here. Every stereotype of your typical Walmart shopper is found here. The cashier guy was super friendly even calling me hun. This store is not as busy as Apple Valley location. I'll shop again if/when in Hastings next.

Shopped at this location for years and no longer will I can go to Cub, Target, HyVee to name a few and not be treated like a thief. They primarily have self check out, i'm okay with that. They have cameras filming you as you do self check out also okay with that. It's when you get to the door and you have to show your receipt. Really tired of this extra step, employee looks at receipt. The only thing that does it stop and make a PAYING customer upset. This step can't tell if a customer has stolen items and just checked out a few items. I'll shop elsewhere. Hey Walmart check the security camera from the self check out I went through - I scanned and PAYED for every item.

Finally decided to try the shopping online and have groceries delivered due to surgery sidelining me for a couple of days. Placed the order at 2:00 pm and was told to select a delivery window for the groceries and I chose the 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. At 6:25pm I get a text saying that my groceries are slightly delayed but will be arriving soon. 9:00 pm rolls around and I decide to call the support line and Muhammed from the support desk takes my call and he puts me on hold briefly while he checks the status of my grocery delivery. He comes back and tells me the groceries will be arriving any minute now and the reason they are running nearly four hours behind was due to all the traffic. Traffic. I'll pause until anybody familiar with the Hastings area finishes laughing at that. I calmly explain to Muhammed that on Hastings worst traffic day that you may be delayed a couple of extra minutes but there is a zero percent chance that traffic has my groceries running hours behind due to all the traffic! Suddenly Muhammed has a new excuse for the delay ... It's because it was taking so long to get my groceries to me that they had to return to the store to get replacement items as some of the groceries had gone bad. I'd had enough of this nonsense and asked Muhammed to cancel my order that I'd be taking my business to another grocery store not named Walmart. Muhammed proceeds to cancel my order and then tells me it could take up to forty-eight hours to get the money I paid for the groceries reimbursed to me and upon questioning that he blames my bank for the delay. Of course, thank you, Muhammed, your help has been invaluable. I am done with Walmart This particular store is very nice and clean inside but the women that work the front in the manager yellow vests are some of the most miserable and unpleasant people that I've ever dealt with in public facing positions. Don't you dare ask them a question that a person in their position is supposed to answer.

I only go there because there is no place else to shop in Hastings after they have taken out the Target. The pharmacist have been caught lying to me about why my medication is not ready or paid by insurance over and over. They always blame someone else. dr, insurance, never them. It infuriates me. Why not just tell the truth. Hard to ever find help in the store. Overcharged on clearance Items or mismarked items always. Rung up wrong!they don't care. It's not their money. Their are some VERY NICE EMPLOYEES though. Some doing some strang things! Like the lady in the deli eating the cheese.

Sure wish I could leave a review on the Tire and Lube, but I guess this will do. HORRIBLE experience on 8/11/19 when getting a tire replaced. Was told it would be about an hour before they could get to it as there was "only 1 guy" working on cars. Fine. Was told Brent would call as soon as the tire was replaced. Perfect! Dropped it off around 1:30, they started on it around 2:45 and it was done at 3:01pm. NO CALL as of 4:05pm. I call the store, as to be transferred to TLE, (talked to a real live person at that!) and then spent the next 18mins on hold...as we drove there to find only 1 car in the bay and my vehicle was the ONLY one in that side parking lot. Walked in while I was STILL on hold, was asked (by Brent!!) why we were there. I said we had been waiting for his call and that I was STILL on hold for him. I got a "Humph, I don't know what to tell you. My phone isn't ringing. Are you sure you called here?" He then proceeds to tell us that there was never any paperwork done, so he didn't know what we were talking about (I had the claim ticket still w/me as well), then states it was "lost" and that "nobody told him" that it was done, followed by SEVERAL "I don't know what to tell you" comments. He was incredibly RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, dismissive and just a horrible employee. Not once did he express a single conscientious or empathetic thought or took any responsibility for any of the missteps that took place, but tried putting it back on to me and whoever it was that worked on my vehicle. I don't care how desperate you might be...GO ELSEWHERE for better service and professionalism and to be treated like a person. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The classiest and cleaner Walmart I have been to in many years! It is big and well maintained. May be because not too many customers. It is flooded with light. Every thing is well located. No guessing when searching for items. Grocery looked good and fresh. I purchased the mini cucumber and it was fresh (it is a challenging vegetable to keep).

I spent over 2 hours amassing my cart and was through self-check with all my bags tied shut when the register cancelled all my purchases and spit out the receipt! I guess the register light must have started flashing bc someone was there before I even knew there was a problem, but all this person did was stare at my receipt and shake their head. No calling for a manager, no offer to hand enter the items purchased, no offer to help empty my bags and start over... nothing. I have heard of this happening to other people, but wow. I was so dumbfounded and frustrated I wanted to scream & cry. I would have spent well over $300 but instead just walked out. I guess Cub will get all my business from now on.

I called wal.art this morning around 10 am and asked for jewelry department and was on hold for 17 min. I called back and same thinv happened, this time I waited only 7 min. Called back again and the lady put me thru to the manager. I wanted to know if they had a good variety clip on sunglasses. The manager went to look, came back and said they had some. I asked if there was a good variety of them and she said she didn't know, but there was some there. I waisted almost 45 min trying to get a truthful answer so i didn't have to drive there for nothing. Couldnt even get a decent answer from a manager. Also was told nobody works in the jewelry department till noon. Why have one if you can't get anybody to work it. Oh, almost forgot.... last week I had to wait 35 min to get to get a gallon of paint mixed up. How can you get your employees to give a crap about customers when the managers don't either. I really don't even want to leave a 1 star for this review but they don't give you those choice of leaving a ZERO star!!

It's a fun place to hang out. They get mad if you hang out in there without buying anything tho. Me and my friends got kicked out because we didn't buy anything and we're kinda just walking and talking. It's a rational reason I guess but eh

Treated horribly. Will do most if not all of my shopping at Target, and Cub foods, both places actually enjoy and genuinely want to help you. Blacks and other customers of color should avoid this Walmart if you want to feel welcome .

I would give less than 1 star if I could. In fact, I would recommend that no one ever step foot in this monstrosity! Never have I been so poorly treated with such terrible service as I was in the electronics department.
