I stopped by yesterday to check if my new house would have fiber intranet with HBC, apparently not yet but coming soon as they keep building, Becca and Joe were very knowledgeable and nice people. Answered all my questions and gave me a rundown of how the new fiber technology works. Very good people to talk to and I’m happy I have local people I can talk to about my future service. Great job guys!

Great service. Ryan was an awesome installer and Katrin was fantastic to work with. Have had HBC since October and no problems!

Joe W was super helpful when I called in. I was having some internet problems and he helped me figure out and troubleshoot the problem. He helped me get it back up and running again. Very high quality service.

4 months ago, I walked into their shop asking when they'd be in my neighborhood. I was told 3-4 months.I called today to check, I received news it would be at least two years. I told them not to bother contacting me.

Internet is down and I sat on hold for over an hour. Called the local office and they are only open until 5 pm. Says to leave a message and they’ll get back to you the next day.

If you live in Hastings, MN, and are still using Comcast for high-speed internet (and TV), you should DEFINITELY take a look at HBC's fiber internet service. We switched to HBC from Comcast late summer 2021, and our internet service has been flawless ever since (and WAY faster than Comcast ever managed). Comcast seemed to have an inconvenient outage at least every other month -- with HBC, we've had zero outages.Also, HBC internet + Hulu Live TV streaming is less than HALF THE PRICE we were paying Comcast for internet/TV, with like I said, zero outages, and no "you've already used XYZ gig this month" warnings.What with the whole ZERO outages to complain about, I don't have much to say about customer service, other than I haven't needed any! Katrin answered my initial questions when I first learned they would be placing fiber in my neighborhood, the guy who brought fiber into the house and hooked up the service to my network was very knowledgeable.
