Had a great experience here today. While vaguely mentioning I've been having a difficult time finding a Vivaldi record; the woman who was working decided to show and sell me not only the perfect Vivaldi record from her private collection, but also a couple other records of interest. She had fun and interesting anecdotes about the records in general.

I have been to this shop a few times this year and have enjoyed the shop a lot. Every time I have been in there, the owner has had great music playing which makes browsing more fun. I appreciate that she always has a great selection of Pyrex. As an avid Pyrex collector, I find the prices to be very fair.

One of the worst antique shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I walked in with a friend midday on a weekend. Someone was up front talking to what appeared to be a customer sitting down. She didn’t acknowledge us (not a big deal), but I can only assume she was the owner. My friend and I looked for quite awhile and found some pieces we liked but a great deal of what I liked was overpriced. I’ve been an avid antique shopper for years so I feel I have a good handle on what appropriate pricing looks like. That’s not even the biggest problem here. The biggest issue was the owner’s attitude. When we asked to check out (after precariously perching our things on her overcrowded counter), it seemed we were bothering her. I mentioned I was looking for things for my wedding and she replied with a snarky and short, “yeah you and everyone else.” When I asked her pricing on some items with no tags she got defensive and agitated saying “yeah these kids come in here and rip all the price tags off.” I was being kind to her and simply asking the price, so her attitude really shocked me. There were two glass pieces that I felt were overpriced and since I was wanting to purchase a lot of things from her shop, I thought I could ask her to come down a bit on them. When I politely asked “could you take $10 for these?” She audibly scoffed and said “FOR BOTH?! Uhhhm no!” There was one item they had a $2.99 goodwill price tag on it but did not have her price tag anywhere. When we asked her price she wanted over $20 for the item (all the while casually trying to pick off the goodwill price tag without us noticing). My friend mentioned we saw the tag already and she said “yeah well I’m not goodwill!” Let’s put it this way, her attitude alone made me put back about $40 in items. I walked away with a few things (only because I need them for my wedding decor), but I will never be shopping here again. To also put things in perspective, a week or so before that I went to another antique shop and spent $295 on Amber glass for my wedding. If she was a kind human being and maybe a little more fair with her prices, she could’ve had a good customer. Instead, I told the family about to go inside, “I wouldn’t shop there if I were you” and explained how rude she was and how disrespected I felt. Shopping for items for my wedding day was supposed to be a fun, happy experience and you sucked absolutely all of the joy out of that day.

Couldn’t be in the store for more than a few minutes. All three of us who visited have disabilities and the environment was just very overstimulating for all of us. Everything was overpriced and those of us with physical disabilities couldn’t move around inside at all.

Fun, quirky shop. Lori, (spelling?)the shop owner, is easy to banter with & knows the story behind a lot of the pieces, which means a lot for me when purchasing. Go, seriously.

Loved this new antique shop! Such a variety of different things and the owner, Lori, was so great to meet and talk to. Will be coming down again soon.
