Pet Grooming
Pups & Stuff Inc
651 Winnetka Ave N, Golden ValleyThis was my first visit to Pups and Stuff Inc. My 2 rough coat Collies were in desperate need of a groom. Both of my girls hate being brushed and my little Blue Merle is afraid of everything and everyone. When I went to pick them up, they were both happy and excited to show me how beautiful they both looked! I can't thank you enough for the beautiful groom! Looking forward to seeing you again in March!

Pet Care
Golden Valley Animal Hospital
651 Winnetka Ave N, Golden ValleyI am new to the area and I had to start fresh with a new Vet for my new puppy. I chose Golden Valley Animal Hospital based on the location and the great reviews they got. I was very pleased with the staff, the DR and the place. Dalilah was greeted with big smiles and handled very gently. We go back again soon for her second set of vaccines and look forward to continue going to the great little place!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
New Bohemia
8040 Olson Mem Hwy, Golden ValleyWe went to New Bohemia last night to celebrate our son's birthday. It had been at least five years since the last time we'd gone, but part of the reason was that we'd moved farther away. But, wow, have we been missing out this whole time!! Not only was thw food fantastic, and so was the beer, but the service was above and beyond expectation. Jason welcomed us and told us about the menu. Then, when we ordered he was very helpful and seemed genuinely excited to have us there. We were just a normal family of five going out to eat, but he treated us as though we were family. We will absolutely be going back soon!

Under Pressure Brewing
8806 7th Ave N, Golden ValleyTon of beers on tap Never seen it that crowded Hit up if nearby They probably have at least 30 on tap at any given time which is pretty amazing for a brewery. I can only think of one brewery in Iowa that surpasses it for number of choices. Always two menus. One for more of the mainstays and one for the seasonals. I'm more of an IPA or lighter drinker, but I definitely enjoy the darker ones here. Can always find something I haven't had before every time that I go. Give 'em a shot! Never had any trouble bellying up at the bar here.

JJ's Clubhouse
6400 Wayzata Blvd, Golden ValleyWe headed over later in the evening, so there was plenty of parking. Trivia had wrapped up, so good timing on seating. The server was friendly and the food came out fast. Great place to go to grab a quick bite.

Mill Valley Market
1221 Theodore Wirth Pkwy, Golden ValleyStopped in for a bite of breakfast after visiting the Eloise Butler bird sanctuary. The food and the view was amazing. I wish I lived here so I could come back every weekend. I highly recommend the beet and spinach salad as well as the vanilla latte. I'm visiting from Houston, TX where we have great food so I have high expectations.

Other
Animal Humane Society
845 Meadow Ln N, Golden ValleyMy family has had four beloved pets cremated through the Humane Society of Golden Valley - two cats, and two guinea pigs. Each had a private cremation. The staff were so empathetic and compassionate, even when it was our guinea pigs that had passed. We received paw prints for the first three, but not with the last one. That would have been nice, but it's okay. The remains are sent to the Midwest Cremation Society, where they are cremated, and returned to the Humane Society. Staff were respectful of our pets' remains and handled them with care. The first three sets of ashes came back in a flower print tin, and this last one came in a cedar urn. There was also a certificate of cremation and brochure about grieving pets enclosed. We felt cared for as a family each time we've had a pet go to the Rainbow Bridge where we will see them again someday.
