Very accommodating staff. I stayed in the guest house the 2nd B service in BNB but a solid deal and comfortable space nonetheless.Walkability: Close enough to downtown to walk to places like the brewery and coffee shop

I bit disappointed in the lack of Christmas decorations. No fireplaces going and very little communication and reception feeling welcomed.I this time I wouldn't go back.

Loved our stay here. We got to relax and unwind as needed. Breakfasts were delicious, the decor was very well done, the music was soothing, and our room was beautiful, more than adequate for our needs. We felt so at home with the conversation and hospitality. We'll be back!

Great character home, build over 124 years ago, that has easily withstood the test of time. Way more years to come. The owners care for the home and you can tell there is a labour of love there, which will assure an even longer life for this great b and b. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in the Joseph Jay suite. Super comfortable bed with an amazing private bath that you could have party in. Very comfortable. Hosts are great, we spent time with Wes, a wonderful knowledgeable person, offering all sorts of helpful hints and suggestion of places to see and direction up and down very good county roads. The food was second to none, and filled us up for the day. Our evenings were spent enjoying the front screened in porch, that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors well into the night, without being bothered by mosquitoes or other bugs. Wes was alway included in our conversation, which added to the entertainment and total enjoyment of our vacation. Thanks to the Olson’s you are salt of the earth people.

Absolutely amazing! If you are anywhere in MN, make this B&B a destination. We had such a unique experience. Literally every detail of this house is stunning. This house has a rich history and an exceptional inn keeper, Wes. It felt like fine dining. Food was amazing.

Wes is a great Innkeeper. He is professional, friendly and is able to balance hospitality with privacy. He's there to give you info on the history of the house, a tour and have good conversation over breakfast, etc but knows when to shut things down and let the guests do their thing. Two thumbs up on the multi-course breakfast as well. The muffin and coffee brought to your room before breakfast is great for earlier risers.Rooms: 4 rooms of various sizes with 2 larger rooms each with jetted tubs and en-suite bathrooms with 2 smaller rooms which share a bathroom. I stayed in the Joseph Jay Suite and was happy with the choice based on my stay and after having received a tour of the other rooms. The room worked out on many levels. We enjoyed eating at the bistro table and relaxing next to the gas fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the decor and lack of a TV. It is nice that the refrigerator is off to the side in the hallway to the private bath.

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal at Brechet. Wes and Sue were amazing and easy to work with! The space was perfect - they were able to accommodate plenty of people and we had a wonderful experience! My family stayed in a guest house and has all positive things to say. When we received our damage deposit back, they sent a personalized thank you card. Very kind people!

Our stay was amazing! There is not one complaint. Only issue we had was one night when we returned it felt warm, but Wes fixed it them minute we mentioned something. The food was amazing! We actually felt like we were fine dining. The suite itself was great and between board games and the jetted tub we were able to relax and enjoy the weekend. We would definitely go back if we found ourselves near the area. Thank you!
