When they are open, which is infrequently, the store serves a purpose but locals would be better served spending their dollars at local businesses. DG is snuffing out local business across the US and their corporate policies are less than ideal in terms of longevity, meaning that our local business will slowly suffocate as a mismanaged corporation with no ties to the community and no plans to stay in the community removes every last dollar from the community and puts in to the pockets of some out of state suits. And when all competition is extinguished, DG will move out as well and leave behind a ghost town. You’ve been warned fulda.

Hours of operation are super convenient, you know 10a-2:15pm on weekdays and 1:45pm-2:15pm on weekends. It’s nice to know their doors are always open to serve you. I also enjoy getting to hear the staff complain about how hard their job is constantly and one cashier, my favorite, likes to test your math skills by handing back incorrect change. Pro tip: pay using big bills, they will have to take their shoes off in order to utilize their toes as a calculator. I’ve won a couple big payouts this way. Pay for a 1.24 piece of candy with 100 bill and walk away with the candy and an additional cash prize. Corporate office must be charitable. This store should also be recognized for hiring and utilizing persons with mental handicaps! 100% of their staff are “special needs” and we should applaud the corporate office for their progressive staffing policies.

Manager and staff is awesome BUT corporate needs to hurry up and fix their ac. They close 12pm-5pm for most of the summer now.

I went to Fulda to sign some papers to put my son in soccer and I had some extra time on my hands so I thought hey there's a Dollar General so I stopped. WoW not even kidding super clean really nice customer service and the items in there we're beyond what I have seen at other Dollar General's before, such an amazing Dollar General!
