“I found Joy while searching for a seamstress in my area to alter several blazers I had recently purchased. I requested an appointment through her business's Facebook page late one evening and woke up the next morning to a message from Joy confirming the appointment. Joy was such a pleasure to work with and I was thrilled with the plan for each blazer. She listened to me when I said I prefer silver over gold for buttons/pins for the jackets and even provided me with several options that she hand picked for me to choose from (I chose them all!) One of the blazers needed a lot of work to fit correctly (it is not an easy material to work with and had a satin lining) and Joy's skills shown through as the jacket looks like it was made for me!
Not only is joy a phenomenal seamstress, but an asset to our community. She gives back by spending her weekends teaching kids how to sew and hosting a fashion review for her kids to show off everything they've learned and what they have created.
There is no doubt that Joy will be my go-to moving forward and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly skilled seamstress!

“Back in December, I ordered 10 pairs of Carhartt pants in my usual size. This was my first time buying Carhartt since they introduced the new sizing options (slim, regular, and loose fit). Unfortunately, all the pants arrived about 2 inches too long.Determined to find the right fit, I recently made the trip to this location with my giant box of pants. Traffic was awful, and I only arrived 15 minutes before closing. Despite the late hour, the employee working there, Chris, couldn't have been more helpful.Chris was incredibly patient and understanding, even though I showed up last minute with a large box of pants to exchange. He took the time to explain the new sizing options and helped me find the perfect fit for me so I could order from their website since the store is about an hour drive for me.He even went above and beyond by explaining their free zipper/button and repair program – something I wasn't aware of before. I never felt rushed, even though I ended up leaving 20 minutes after closing time!This experience is a testament to the great employees at Carhartt. “Wonderful store! I came here to shop for my senior pictures and loved it. The staff are beyond friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They have a wide variety of clothing that is high quality. The selection of dresses and skirts are great, as well as the jewelry. The clothes I bought are super comfortable and fit well. “BEAUTIFUL boutique with the sweetest shop dog, Daisy! Happened to stop in after having a cup of coffee next door and can't wait to go back. Great selection of high quality clothing ranging from basics to statement pieces, and unique, versatile accessories. While not every single item came in plus sizes (as far as I could tell), there was a really wide selection of XL, 2X, and 3X items including on the sale racks. Most sale items were heavily discounted so I'd recommend stopping in even if you're on a budget. So happy to have discovered this gem!!”

I had previously been to multiple other vendors in the Twin Cities and the sales experience and especially the dress selections were really below average which made me anxious about ever finding anything I might like within my budget.Cue Anthropologie.I loved every single dress on the Anthropologie wedding website because the catalog looked timeless, chic, and elegant and this prompted me to book an appointment with a local store (which I was able to secure the same week). The dresses were a bit above my original budget, but what I saw online was so promising that I was willing to go above what I had in mind. Best. Decision. Ever.I nearly wept publicly from relief when I tried on the first dress in the store. The fabric, fit, and design of their inventory is UNMATCHED in comparison to any "traditional" bridal shops in the Twin Cities. The store associates were incredibly helpful, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about styles. Jewelry of all colors and styles, purses, clothes, etc. Just be careful you don't spend your entire paycheck (the prices are very reasonable, but you might accidentally buy everything because this is such a fun store and I wanted it all)! “My fiance and I came in when we were doing some exploring after picking up a prescription near by. This is such a cute clothing store. The owner makes and has very high quality clothing. He is a very nice guy whose customers are his top priority. We bought two sweatshirts and two shirts. I would recommend any Minnesotan to come check this shop out. There's tons of MN gear here. “I was at the store last week and saw the best deals on bras and undies only to have their placements of them so high up. I was cranky from all the shopping I had to do for graduation and had told the worker with black hair, I think her name was Ivena (almost complaining, if you see this I am sorry) about the day I had and how I did not like how the store was laid out. Instead of clapping back, she thanked me for the feedback and took care of me throughout my time, She gave me a fitting room, checked on me, and I felt comfortable enough to ask for her opinion!!!!!!
