the doctor was great. But the guy checking us in was a complete jerk. My wife was puking diarrha and lots of pain. Couldnt do much. And she couldnt explain her situation so i tried to explain what was happening with her and the guy got agressive with me rejecting everything i said. I am a good man and i had to straighten him out. Terrible to have this man working the front desk

Use to like this hospital and would have recommended it to anyone, however tonight has changed everything. I understand I've been in more than I would like but to make me feellike a burden is not ok

I was an ER patient here and the service I received was amazing! The ER staff was ok but the doctors were outstanding! Very nice and clean ER too! Highly recommend!

I was admitted to Mercy for addiction treatment, inpatient. I received excellent care. I struggled with alcohol addiction for a very long time, and I was not able to get sober until my treatment here. The staff was amazing, my counselors helped me with care after discharge, and I felt that the nurses and doctors really cared about me and wanted to see me succeed.

This is the best hospital I have ever been in. The staff and care are exemplary. They made me, a severe anxiety disordered patient, feel so secure and not one panic attack! The staff, particularly Derrick, Sarah, Julie and the wonderful respiratory and lab guys are a joy. Don't be afraid to come here it's a treat place. And I am in the COVID unit. They are busy!!!

It's is sad that a $100 blood test you have to go to the ER that cost thousands of dollars to get out done

Quick and precise information & accurate diagnosis. Great care & I was very surprised but thankful that I wasn't there all night.

They treated my friend with a heart condition like a drug addict. The nurses were rude and unkind, I've never seen anything like it.

It's a bit of a hit or miss here. I had a wonderful nurse here a few days ago, but everyone else has left a lot to be desired. The first nurse I had didn't listen to me when I told her that trying to flush the IV hurt and I was feeling a lot of pressure on my arm and kept trying (it was an IV infiltration). She also told me that the reason I was feeling clammy and my pulse was low (for me, normal for others) was because of the medication I was on and not due to the IV infiltration. I had two IV infiltrations on my left arm that day. Said nurse didn't seem to know what to do, so she took forever getting help (the nurse that helped her was much nicer, had a better bedside manner, and knew her stuff).I went back yesterday, after having gone to a different hospital (Regions) where they actually ran the tests to try to isolate what I was sick with and came up with a result very quickly. I was feeling shortness of breath and my asthma meds weren't helping enough. While I was laying there in the back of the ER, I was watching my oxygen numbers keep going down. One time they reached 83 and the alarm started going off, but no one came to check and it eventually went back up again. I had slight double vision and my head felt weird. I was laying still. The doctor said that the low numbers must have been due to me moving and the nurse tried to gaslight me and say that it didn't happen. I am not impressed. I wish I had gone back to Regions instead despite their longer wait time. At least they've treated me well, given me the meds I've needed, and taken care of me.

The reviews are correct, you’re better off treating yourself or loved one on the side of the road. This hospital is absolutely terrible! A loved one was in a house fire and brought here, they did not even help them take a shower as they had black soot all in their hair and burns all over their hands. When I asked the nurse why (Heather on the 2nd floor) told me because they didn’t ask for a shower. Heather was listening to my phone conversation with another loved one and threatened to call security on me because I said the hospital was terrible and unhelpful. Please go anywhere else!

Funny. Go into ER with a stroke. 2020 they drop the ball.... covid right? Laughable. Aneurysm, they missed for 2 years. Stroke recurrence, I am told to go home and get sleep. Elevated BP. Then referral to a collage student that wants to be a psychologist. Trust me, if you want humor, this is the place. CT with no noise suppression was just cruel. If you want a laugh, clown it up.

When I was seen in the ED.. the triage nurse started an IV. She did not put on gloves and had on those long press on nails. Blood dripped on her desk and all she did was take the small alcohol wipe that she used to wipe my arm with and cleaned up her desk. I filled out a survey but nothing came of it.
