We have been so fortunate to have used the services of Acorn Vet for a number of years. The staff is so kind and caring and always manages to exhibit professionalism and compassion for our pet.
Over a year ago our elderly German Shorthair suffered from mobility issues in his hind legs. We had to carry him which was quite a task. Seeking some help and answers, we immediately contacted Acorn Vet. Doc suggested laser therapy as a means to help our dog. To say it was a miracle is an understatement! After over a year, our dog is mobile and enjoying his senior years Doc and his staff have been amazing! Maddie and Angie have been awesome at performing this therapy. We can not thank the staff of Acorn enough for improving the quality of our dog's life!

Honestly this vet deserves more than 5 Stars I was trying to find a vet due to a severe injury my dog got I have been here the last few days for the wound care my dog got attacked by a wild animal they care for the animals I HIGHLY recommend them it's hard to find someone that actually cares about the animals and not just the money and Fargo is way out of the question I don't have time to be sitting there for 6 to 12 hours and plus they are highly expensive

My family is so unbelievably grateful for Doc and his staff, as they went/currently going above and beyond to help diagnosis and ensure my fur baby is getting better. They not only are researching and not giving up on the issue at hand but they see my worries and help me understand, knowing I am scared during all this. Docs, Melissa, Sharon and the other two techs are top notch and we appreciate all they do for us and our animals.

Me and My ex went there about a year ago for her Pitbull's UTI. the doctor was very uncaring and didn't even look like he wanted to do the job he signed up for. He even had the audacity to tell her to wash the dog's ears because 'he didn't want to get messy', the assistants kept scaring the dog when trying to get a urine sample, on top of having me come in from the waiting room to lift the dog up there myself. A year later and the dog has the same UTI, so thanks for doing nothing but wasting our time I guess.

Great service, got my dog neutered in 45 minutes and he healed in a couple days. Cost about $350 out the door, way cheaper than Fargo.

Acorn Lake Vet I'd HIGHLY recommend after my experience today. Dr. Randall was very through in explaining the details of my dog's diagnosis. As I had so many questions with this news, he was so patient and referenced his answers that were more detailed in debth. That day I had called 3 Vet clinics and he was the only one that squeezed us in for the urgent appointment. Plus, they were extremely reasonable on their prices, I felt like I should have wrote the check out for more for the amount of time Dr. Randall spent with me and all the lab work performed and prescription. I wished I would have found this gem of a vet sooner.

I found the doctor and office manager to be very rude, uncompassionate and didn't care about parents of their patients. They were extremely busy and I can understand stress, but I think it is unprofessional to tell to someone to cool their jets when their furbaby is extremely sick. She turned out to have senior diabetes and her quality life had degraded terribly and she was no longer living a quality life. I suspected diabetes but just wanted blood work done for verification. If I was correct I was going to let her cross the bridge. She was 12 years old. It had been over 24 hours since the test was ran and I couldn't get any answers. Just told to cool your jets, we are extremely busy with seminars and surgery we can only be in one place at time yada, yada. I will never go to this place again.
