Forest Lake, MN, Walgreens has always worked just fine for me. The drive-through pickup is convenient. My calls to them have been answered right away or with minimal delay. Once they even went back over old video of a prescription being filled when I questioned getting all the bottles I should have received; turned out to be my mistake. Any delays in filling a prescription have always been problems with my doctor writing a new presciption. The online prescription filling service has always worked fine as well. I do feel sorry for the pharmacists as their job demands have to be extraordinary dealing with accurately filling prescriptions, people always lined up at the counter and drive-through plus the phone ringing.

Went today to get a scheduled Typhoid shot. Got to the counter and told them I was there for a typhoid shot and they rudely said...you need an apt. I told them my husband and I had Apts. He asks his coworkers if anyone was qualified to give that shot. No one answered. She checks on her shelf no shots available. We drove back 45 min just for the shot. Gave me other options for other random shots. Pharmacist was standing right there. Guess if you schedule it call before you go. No apologies just rude behavior. I am going to move my prescriptions. Just sick of bad service

Update: Go to another pharmacy. If you didnt have a bad headache before, expect one if you deal with these people. They will lie to your face and look at you and say they didn't.. Something needs to be done about this Walgreens. The pharmacy customer service is the worst. They are so slow and it amazes me how rude they are. I'll be contacting corporate. It's crazy how poorly they treat their customers !

I've realized it's not just the Walgreens in Alabama where I'm from—it's all Walgreens. The pharmacy service is absolutely atrocious. Even two days after a medication request is sent, it's still not filled. When trying to call for an update, you're met with a recording and music, indicating more than three people are ahead of you, and this goes on for hours. Please, do your job or find another profession.

Staff was rude, I waited 35 minutes on hold to have them drop my call when connected to someone. I went to the store and requested they fill it and they said it will be done around 3pm (3 hours from when I went in the first time) I arrived at 445 to find out they hadn’t even started it yet and it would take at least 30 minutes to fill. I will NEVER use Walgreens again anywhere!!

When Thrifty White Pharmacy in Forest Lake sold to Walgreens its customers were transferred to Walgreens without our knowledge. In fact, the telephone number for Thrifty White automatically rolled over to Walgreens. Disgusting! Walgreens has been a disaster for customer service. Several times I was put on hold for over an hour. Each time the price for the same refill was different as they could never get it straight what my supplement plan was and so on. Yesterday their computer and phone system went down completely and the pharmacy has been completely closed for over 24 hours!
So I had my doctor call the prescription into Rolseth in Forest Lake. I got a text within 10 minutes that my prescription was ready and the price was one-tenth the cost for the same thing at Walgreens! The pharmacist and owner was light years ahead of the typical person behind the counter at Walgreens. Go to Rolseth! You will be rewarded with small town courtesy, promptness, and economy. I guarantee it!

They were unable to fill a prescription my daughter needs today due to network issues. Then because the order was stuck in limbo I was unable to fill it at any other pharmacy. I have never gotten prescriptions here in a timely manner so I recommend going somewhere else.

Worst pharmacy ever. Waited on hold 50 mins to talk to someone and then they were rude and it still took 10 hours and two trips in person to get my prescription. Three times in two months they’ve said “system down,” yet nobody seems to care to fix it. Go elsewhere.

It gets super busy and they're often overwhelmed, undworked, and understaffed. They're always polite and try their best to be efficient. I don't mind this location.

Every time I go here, I have hopes that things have gotten better. It only gets worse. The pharmacy staff is treats people like garbage. I can’t imagine the amount of stress they are under but it must be pretty bad. Computers never working. Phones never working. On hold for over 45 minutes. Yesterday I witnessed the pharmacist yelling at the assistant. It is complete chaos behind that counter. I was SO sad when Thrifty White closed. This Walgreens is beyond hope and needs to be shut down.

I needed an Rx filled while traveling, the pharmacy staff checked to make sure that had it, before I ordered an Uber. They filled it promptly and we're super nice

While I understand that staff cannot be stationed at the phone at all times I was on hold with the pharmacy for 25 minutes before entering the store physically. Then after proceeding to the pharmacy and talking to the attendant, the phone had still not been answered at 28 minutes in. This call was initiated as I was trying to call the prescription ahead of time for convenience while driving. As I waiting on hold, AI told me my place in line. I spent 15 minutes on hold with no one ahead of me on the line. Absolutely ridiculous.

I definitely should have checked the reviews before coming here! Yikes! The pharmacy is a joke! Terrible service! Scott the pharmacist was very rude and condescending. He even sarcastically laughed at a question I asked. They charged me for a medication that was covered and when I asked for a refund they said they couldn’t. One of the employees asked for help from the pharmacy manager and she literally said she didn’t have time for this. It’s a very negative environment to both employees and customers.
