Absolutely terrible service, lost package for at&t and unknowledgeable about literally anything. Gave the guy behind the counter the info for a pre paid label and said this isn't a tracking number it's from when the label was created and all he cared about was the tracking number and claimed I went through ups when I told him I got the receipt from them.

We moved to FL a month and a half ago and we still aren’t getting our mail. When we have to pick up our mail at the post office no one has any answers to our questions.

I work at a small business with mailbox services, and the forest lake post office has been ridiculous for a long time now, recommend avoiding at all costs.
Anytime our normal lady (who is great) is out, they have a lottery of who gets our route, and every temp has asked me word for word "Is this for you?" I don't know, you brought it here.
Wanna call and complain?
you cant they don't answer their phone.

Absolutely a waste of government funds. Mail never comes when it's shown on informed delivery. They deliver advertisements instead of people legal mail... Then when you call there's always an excuse. Please thin the herd here. Have had to contact law enforcement over my mail due to this location

I was expecting a package that needed a confirmed signature. I watched the mailman pull up and as he did I got a notice it was delivered. I ran outside as no one had come to our door. I asked him about the package!
Lie 1: He said he never delivered my package nor any packages that day.
Lie 2: He proceeded to back up and check previous mailboxes and told me sorry no package.
Lie 3: He got out of his truck and checked front , sides and back looking for my package… no package.
At this point I was very frustrated. This was an important package that we had been waiting for. Still he insisted he never saw the package. I then pulled up the delivery confirmation and it said it had been delivered and signed by my neighbor.
Lie 4: He said he never delivered it
I ran to my neighbors house but no one was home. So who signed for it.
At this point I knew he lied to me. I told him I wanted to see inside my neighbors mail box. He ran to the box protecting it and I warned him I would call the postmaster if he didn’t open it.
Lie 5: He insisted again there was no package. But when I started to open it he decided to open it and there lay a package with my name on it.
I asked who signed for it and instead of answering he ran for his truck and said he must be dyslexic. Well 15 mins later I got a confirmation of delivery which had 3 straight lines as delivery signature.
Lie 6: He signed the delivery confirmation but never delivered it.
The next day I went to the Forest Lake Post Office and explained what happened. He checked the delivery confirmation and said it should never have happened. He assured me that the postmaster would call me. Crickets!!!!
The lying postman was in his 20’s blondish brown hair (short) and about 5’9. We live on the West side of hwy 35 and South of Broadway.
I always had a lot of trust in the post office but I now have a new view. As in most service jobs they don’t seem to care… so beware if he is your postman also. NO apology ever was given from him or the post office. He delivered lie after lie but no package.

I'm in several times a week and the guys and gals always try their best to help me ship my packages out no matter what crazy address I need to send them. Overall, they do a good job!

This is the worst service ever said they tryed to deliver at 10 pm them said brought package back to office at 8pm when scanned lol should at least get there times correct now there saying I need to pick it up

Dana at the post office is always so friendly and helpful! Quick and friendly service every time I have to ship a package.

I understand being short staffed…but every Monday mail that is scheduled to be delivered never comes! This time we have a package scheduled to arrive with a tracking number and who knows where it is. Simply states in transit to the next facility. This was after it was scheduled for Monday, it’s now Tuesday and still waiting!

This post office is filled with thieves that stole my son's driver's license instead of delivering it. Have filed numerous complaints and still have not heard a single thing back. Extremely Incompetent employees and no one to hold them accountable for stealing people's mail. Even filed a complaint with the usps office of inspector general and still nothing. These people don't care and I honestly don't feel bad for them being "overwhelmed". Pick a different job if you're not capable of delivering mail!

The post office itself is like any post office. Slow lines at busy times. Some friendly staff, some not. Clean facility.
We often receive random mail for addresses not even similar to ours. We also RTS and sometimes get stuff back from the post office.
Let's remember, this facility is brought to you by the level 9f government who've mismanaged passenger trains so poorly that it has to be heavily subsidized and who have also gotten America into $31 trillion into debt.
