We have used this clinic for at least 16 years. They have always been great with our dogs. on 6/27/24 We brought our Collie up for her annual vaccinations and check up. She was in Heat at the time. We did not have our normal vet at this appointment. The Vet that we had MISDIOGNOISED OUR PUREBRED WITH PYOMETRA. Put urgency and fear in us that we had to have surgery done immediately. They had no openings and she recommended we find another clinic that could perform this. We had the surgery at another clinic as recommended. Our new vet clinic did an examination of the uterus and she did NOT HAVE Pyometra. After speaking to the Vet that diagnosed her she took no responsibly of her diagnosis, and that she still stood on her recommendation of surgery. Took away our choice of breeding her in the future.

The staff was friendly and they all loved my dog. However, the reason I don't recommend this place is the lack of communication. I was quoted $255 for a neuter and pain meds to go home. Sometime in between me calling to schedule the neuter and picking up my dog they changed the prices and nobody thought to tell me. So when I arrived and they told me my total was $415 I was shocked. When I asked about it they told me their prices rose and since there wasn't an estimate in my chart there was nothing they could do. Thank god I budgeted for extra or I wouldn't have been able to afford it. Also the invoice/discharge instructions they gave me was the bare minimum. There was no time written or verbally spoken to me to give my dog his pain meds, there was no details on what meds they gave in clinic or how much they gave, etc. I am very disappointed with the experience I had here.

My dog and I had our first appointment here today and I can say, with no hesitation, that they are one of the finest clinics I have ever used. The vet and technicians were timely, respectful, and invested. I felt heard, validated, and like my dog's wellbeing was their top priority. My appointment was the last of the day. It would have been easy for them to push me through quickly so they could end their day. Instead they answered every question I had and explained everything to me in easy to understand terms. They didn't pressure me to make quick decisions and instead gave me information so I could choose what was best for my dog's lifestyle. After only one appointment, they have gained my loyalty and respect. If you are on the fence about which vet to choose, please highly consider this one. The prices are fair and the people are phenomenal. I grew up on a farm, have had animals my whole life, and have interacted with countless vets. Through all of that, this was one of my best experiences yet. I am thrilled to have found a partner I trust to care for my dog.

This place was an amazing find. They are dealing with the curbside drop off like pros! I cannot say enough good things about them. I have one dog and four cats. They offer reasonable rates , Compassionate care. And practical advice!!

Visiting Forest Lake from out of state. Our dog sprained her leg and needed to be checked out to make sure nothing severe. We received fast excellent service and got our girl fixed up. Thanks for fitting us into the schedule on short notice.

We have been bringing our Aussie to them since we got him as a puppy 6 years ago and always feel we receive the best care possible. They have been great with all of his needs including neutering, skin rashes, allergies, regular check ups, vaccines, and even teeth cleaning. Compared to other Vet's in the area, they do seem to charge less then others and that is a wonderful plus!!
