Gerten’s has done a wonderful job since buying Houle’s Feed Store. They have friendly, excellent customer service and reasonable prices. Cracked corn 25# for $9.99 is the perfect size for me to manage and store at home. Thanks for loading it into my car Andrew.

I found out the garden center at Houles is supplied by Gertens and they will be open all summer right into fall! ? I heard a rumor that there will be a permanent greenhouse at some point…but it was just what I heard. ?

They are a staple of locally-owned shopping options in Forest Lake and give customers the choice of both top national brands as well as locally-made feed and seed sourced from local partners and directly from their own historic mill in Delano.
The store is connected to the historic E.J Houle's Feed Mill, which has been a landmark in Forest Lake for over 100 years and underwent restoration and renovations in 2021.
