Always had a great experience here. Went to a different auto shop due to a coupon for a cheap oil change the other day, and they told me that a transmission leak could cost me up to $650 to fix! I called auto imports and they got me in and had if fixed within a couple of hours for under $300, which was the maximum price they gave me
if everything needed to be repaired over the phone. Very
affordably priced service. They even warned me that having too much weight on my lanyard that was connected to my keys could cause the ignition key to fail, which I didn't know! Definitely had my best interest in mind.

Yeah well unfortunately as an employee, they can't keep people. My husband questioned one thing on his paycheck and got canned today, worked there for FIVE YEARS. They don't have the knowledgeable or people there anymore, they either fired them for no reason, like my husband, or the let them quit, overworking their small staff. What a sad company.

I recently needed my headlight replaced.
They needed to send for the part locally but were able to complete the job.

I have been going here for past 8 years, and have had a positive experience each time. They keep you informed, give good explanations. Honest in one visit, they could have easily fixed the oil leak, charged me, instead they advised me to see dealer as thought this maybe under warranty, which turns out it was. The waiting room is clean, which if your waiting is a plus. Top notch customer service.

Skidplate on my Mazda3 popped off on the freeway and they zip tied it back on for free in 10 minutes. No charge.

Brought my Tesla Model S in with significant tire damage. Pat and his team found the wheels were bent. They put on my winter wheels and sent the bent wheels off the same day to get straightened. Within two business days, I had my car back, and only had to pay for the wheel straightening. The car drives better than it ever has, and my tires should last significantly longer. Best customer service I've ever experienced. I've brought past vehicles there and had great experiences as well. Well deserved 5-star review.

I had great service at American Imports in Forest Lake. I only had an oil change done this time on my Nissan Altima, but after the inspection of my car was done, Patrick explained everything to me as far as what was needed in the near future. There was absolutely no pressure to make another appointment. He said that I should just keep plugging away at the things that needed to get done. Comfortable waiting area's with coffee and snacks. Give them a try!
