I went in because I thought it was my transmission going out. Turned out to be something substantially cheaper and I appreciate the honesty and now my car drives better than it ever has

First time here. Couldn't get anyone else to even look at my 79 Lincoln. The fix was pricey. But not because of ACT. Just the nature of the fix. All in all very fair very friendly. I will be back

"My dealership paid the diagnostic fee just for them to say there’s no problem."

I went with my brother who went to go grab his vehicle after being serviced there. First thing the joke was they gave him a damaged rental and when it broke down on him they had the audacity to tell him to jump start it and leave it halfway through. Second thing is they really use his car for off-roading!? I don’t think that’s what you suppose to do when servicing a car I mean common commonsense there. Also, when my brother went to pick up the vehicle he address a concern about the clocking noise and they said they looked at it and it was normal for jeeps, that’s A+ for misdiagnosis they should problem be certified for misdiagnostic ASE’s. Please for your brain cells avoid this place, you’ve been warned.

Really great customer service, shop is super clean, helped me with getting a stripped lug nut off and also informed me of some stuff I should watch out for with my new wheels. Overall great shop, amazing people and amazing prices. Highly recommend.

I’m at loss of words. Customer service was terrible, they didn’t even fix my car (which they had for 7 days), they refused to give me a rental…I HAD TO TAKE THE CITY BUS EVERYWHERE, and finally the employees were rude and unhelpful @ACTS automotive repair, if this is how you run a business you might want to rethink your decision. I am extremely disappointed with your lack of communication, efficiency, and hard work DO BETTER.

After seeing all the good and positive reviews from folks taking their vehicles to this shop I decided to bring mine in as well but the experience I got in return was definitely now as good or positive! I brought my vehicle in for a full inspection and diagnostic and was told repeatedly that there was nothing wrong with my car and I knew for a fact that there was an issue because my car never drove this rough before but over and over again I was told that it was normal wear and tear. I am definitely displeased with this shop!

I recently visited ACTS Automotive Repair for some much-needed car maintenance, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. From start to finish, the experience was riddled with incompetence and frustration.
Firstly, scheduling an appointment was a nightmare. The receptionist seemed disinterested and unorganized, resulting in confusion over my appointment time. When I finally arrived, I was greeted by a mechanic who seemed more interested in chatting with his colleagues than attending to my car.
Once they finally got around to working on my vehicle, the problems didn’t end there. The repairs took much longer than anticipated, with no updates provided throughout the process. When I asked for an explanation, the staff seemed clueless and offered no apology for the delay.
To top it off, when I received my car back, the repairs were shoddy at best. It was evident that corners had been cut, and the issue I brought it in for was still present. It was clear that they had rushed through the job just to get it off their hands.
Overall, my experience at ACTS Automotive Repair was nothing short of a disappointment. From the lackluster customer service to the subpar workmanship, I would strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to this establishment. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere

Lies, misdiagnosed and mistreated. If you like any of those words please come to this auto shop. Not only were we told that our car is supposed to make a clunking noise when it hits bumps they forgot to pop out dents when we clearly told them to do that and was told by Kandi Auto Sales (where my brother bought his vehicle) My brother paid the diagnostic fee OVER 200$ just for them to say there’s no problem. I would think if you have a car for almost a week just to not find the problem you might want to reevaluate how things are ran especially if two other auto shops say and diagnosed the issue very quickly. It wasn’t until the last 2 days of them having the car that they gave me a beat up and dirty white Toyota Camry as a loaner. lol even the loaner failed to run when we were ready to pick it up the car. We were told by Jeff to “just jumpstart it and drive it to the shop”….how is that even safe for your customers. We had to convince Jeff (a mechanic) that the car was not safe to drive as even after jump starting it turned off by itself. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention, when a car is brought to you to diagnose with almost full gas and clean…customers would appreciate it if you can keep it in that condition instead of low gas and dirty

I had brought my vehicle to get checked and a diagnostic of what the sound was on my vehicle. I had specially told Nate and Jeff where the sound was coming from and was told after doing a test drive of my vehicle that it was nothing, that the sound I was hearing on my vehicle is a sound “that a vehicle is suppose to have”. I had asked them again to please make sure and do another test drive, which they did and also was told that they checked Ball joints, and control arms and that there was still “no problems with the car”. It was very unsettling to me that a vehicle was “suppose to make that sound” according to Nate and Jeff, I had called back weeks later to confirm with Jeff and asked him once again “So Jeff you are telling me a car is suppose to make the noise I am hearing in my vehicle?” Jeff replied “Yes, I have seen plenty of vehicles that have that sound coming from the vehicle”. So I took it upon myself to bring my vehicle to another shop to get the “sound that vehicles are suppose to have” and get it double checked because it was still unsettling to me that a certified mechanic was telling me that. The auto shop that I had brought it to after doing a proper inspection of my vehicle said that the control arm is the problem. Even after I had talked to Jeff who so happen to “work for many auto shops and was highly recommended by everyone.” And had worked with “lots of Mohamed’s” in his days even though my name clearly says “Ali Mohamed” told me that they checked every part of the vehicle from ball joints, and control arm, just for another shop to end up telling me that it was the control arm.
From this experience at Acts automotive I was very upset on this part, I was treated unfairly and when I came back to pick my car up after it being with them for 6 days the outside was very dirty. Not to mention that they gave me a rental that apparently had a bad battery, I was on my way to fill up the car as I was told to do so by Jeff but before I could even get to the gas station behind me house which was no more than 3-4mins away the car’s steering became very heavy and every light on the vehicle turned on. Lucky I made it to the gas station and got to put gas in the vehicle to hold up my end of the deal. I had called Jeff to let him know about this and that it was not going to make it back to the auto repair shop, Jeff replied to me “Can you at least make it some what close to the area cause it’ll cost me too much to get it transported back from your area to where the shop is located”. The vehicle was in no shape of it being driven after being jump started and not even 3 minutes later it turned off. Jeff had to get the vehicle towed back to Acts automotive at the end.
Please do a better job next time for other customers and I would say don’t tell a customer that their vehicle is “suppose to make that sound” if you guys don’t want to do the work.
