“Employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. Senior discount is nice. They have a beer and wine club. I surely hope they expand it to include hard liquor someday. Then I’d never have to go to Total Wine for anything.”
“Hands down the biggest beer selection I’ve ever seen at any store ever. I grew up a few blocks from Blue Max. Outside it looks like a small liquor store, but it’s actually a decent size inside.
They have probably close to, if not over 3,000 different beers in stock. The scotch selection is huge too. They have hundreds of different kinds of scotch. Overall most types of liquor they have a huge selection of.
Attached are photos of just the beer selection. This doesn’t include the beer they have in the back. I’ve seen a lot of people come from Iowa and other states just to do bulk purchases.”

They will have some rare bottles behind the counter, some with high markups, think half way between online retailer and what you might pay on the local secondary.But I don't begrudge them making money, and they do off me from time to time. Though the last time I bought a very expensive bottle the cashier asked me if I came just for that bottle, which was odd given how often I'm there.And you get a free pizza if you spend more than $50...”
“The guy there’s always nice, I’m usually in when a couple of the ladies are working, and they’re always so nice. Will give recommendations or an extra approval when grabbing something they like too. They’ll order stuff you’re interested in. Great little shop, and happy it’s just down the street from my house. I like the small friendly neighborhood stores the best!”

“Stopped by this location after coming into town to meet up with a family member - I grew up in Lakeville and regularly visit so always love shopping within the area. I was pleased to see items stocked and actually prices a bit lower than the same items in the cities near where I live. I found my item(s) and made my way to the register. As I reached for my license, the cashier asked for a birthday and left it at this (fine with me but not sure as far as proper procedure). She also then made a comment when my card didn't work that "if I am just be patient, it will work" which was not something I want from anyone. I said I appreciated her comment but would prefer more direct instruction and she then helped my card get swiped through and I was on my way. Stocked product at fair prices but staff were not very welcoming or overly friendly.”
