First off I have looked over all these reviews on here... and some of these downfalls are not on the dealer. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE CARS YOU BUY.. It is a used car dealership nothing is going to be perfect! I bought a 2008 Toyota prius with 220,000 miles on it... yes it has a lot of miles and it's not perfect. Yes there was a few flaws and broken suspension parts and what he said wasn't completely honest...... but it is a used car dealership.... I didn't buy any warranty so I don't know what that is about... I have been amechanic for 6+ years at a dealership, so I know the in and out of used cars especially Toyota. I inspected the car on the lot before I bought anything. I payed ? because cash is king! My car is still running strong! So all and all I had a decent experience.

I didn't buy a car here, just looked, didn't have what I was looking for. The owner was very friendly and absolutely no pressure. I can only rate on my experience with our interaction.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERESwindled me on a warranty, fast talking silver tongued team. The owner sold me his "daily driver"- best vehicle on the lot. This best vehicle cost 11k with warranty, a warranty that hasn't covered a single penny of the $9500 in repairs. When I called 21 days after purchasing the vehicle and having already accrued $3,000 in those repairs, I was told that it's not his problem. Make sure you know a lawyer before purchasing a vehicle from this place. There is no such thing as customer service when it comes to g&m select autos. Financially speaking covid has devastated families, mine being one of them. Thanks g&m for really screwing me, and not giving two cares about it.

I bought an '05 Saturn Vue from here with 180,xxx miles on it for $5,000 a few weeks ago. Not only was the owner super easy to work with and extremely informative. I've also been driving the vehicle for a couple weeks now and have no concerns at all. I was sent home with a paper copy of the Carfax which was a nice touch. In my experience with buying used cars I have had red flags popping up at the dealership or a few days after when the vehicle I just bought starts acting up. This has so far been the best experience I've had with a used car. Amazing customer service and from what I can tell you are getting a great deal for what you pay!

Great place and a great deal on my chevy terrain. Definitely beats the hastings dealerships. And they are honest and fair! Will definitely stop here first

We just purchased an SUV from Jim and were very happy with the experience. Jim was responsive to my calls and e-mails and made the entire process run smoothly.

I am really disappointed in our buying experience. Not sure there even is enough room to write out my experience. My husband and I had been looking for an SUV to fit our family and to be dependable for our little ones safety. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the earful I received that Jim himself said to me, he test drives all the inventory he brings to his lot and how he goes through them cleaning them up and making sure they run great blabbity blah. Well we test drove two Jeep Commanders and due to his shop tearing into the engine and rebuilding the exhaust whatever I decided I wanted the other commander. Mistake #1. We had checked the vehicle for any fluid leaks. We had seen that the rotors needed replaced and figured that wasn't that big of a deal given the age. But she sure ran like a champ. Mistake #2 was how the financing played out with another used car dealership. So while we were able to drive the vehicle before having transmission issues with the conductor plate and now leaks fluid. We are very dissatisfied driving only 2 weeks and having the vehicle 2 months. NEVER buy a vehicle AS IS from any sketchy dealership and "financing helpers" that just want to take advantage of good families looking for a decent and dependable deal. We had our insurance company tow this vehicle twice because it kept going into limp mode. So Becky with Ac Motors, Shawn with Automotive Concepts, and Jim were are less than impressed with the run around. And the shop at Automotive Concepts couldn't fix the issue. Had the vehicle for a week and called us back saying there was nothing wrong and they needed their 2002 loaner back asap. Like no later than that same day. Phone calls exchanged with everyone who acted like We were making up some kind of story. However then received a call the next day from the warranty we added to our loan, which we plan to cancel Asap!, that stated they would help cover some of the repair costs. We asked to trade the vehicle which wasn't doable. Jim offered nothing. No help. No refund. Asked Becky for a refund. No way that was happening either. So glad I could be the lab rat to learn a lesson that I have no fear sharing with others if I can so help me prevent someone else from having the same experience. Please do more research. Don't give up test driving vehicles and settle. Work and save for a better credit rating or to have a larger down payment with a dealership. A reputable dealership.

I've been researching vehicles for months. When I saw GM Select Autos had the vehicle I was interested, I emailed Jim regarding the lowest price he could offer. He replied stating I should come in and was confused why I would be negotiating at this point in the process. Nervemind the fact I've been on KBB, scanning dealerships, and researching models for months, so when I see a vehicle that fits my price range and the style, I'm not going to waste time. Turns out, the vehicle I inquired about is also Jim's "daily driver" and he said he would rather drive it for himself than "sell it for less." At this point, we haven't discussed price, so It was clear he wasn't interested in a serious discussion. I replied thanking him for the information and let him know I was still interested in hearing his best price (since he avoided mentioning it in his email). He did provide his best price, which was much more than what I was finding on KBB. Overall, I found Jim to be unprofessional and communication style to be passive aggressive. I will not be doing business with him or recommend my friends to GM Select Autos.
