This clinic has declined in service. The front desk staff is rude. They also talked bad about the Dr's (specifically the man) in front of us which was quite uncomfortable. Our room was dirty - had dog hair all over it. They were very pushy about vaccinations. I understand that during COVID many dogs didn't get vaccines - but the pressure to get all of the available vaccines was too much. Didn't have an opportunity to talk about any issues and the well-checkup only consisted of listening to the heart and lungs. Did not check lymph nodes, look in ears, check teeth etc. Kris has always been kind and caring - wish she would get rid of some of the staff that set a very negative tone and leave a bad impression of the clinic.

Had my dogs in a few weeks ago and saw Dr.Mills. She was awesome and explained everything and gave me her recommendations. Scheduled mass removed and told them I wanted on a day Dr. Mills was working since she was the one who most recently saw my dog. Dropped of my dog this morning for surgery and come to find out she's on vacation. Wasn't happy when I scheduled surgery on a day Mills was working on purpose. They offered to reschedule but wanted this done and over with!

I visited Farmington Veterinary Clinic today to get treatment fir my dog's ear infection. I was able to get an appointment for today, (no extra charge, like my former vet wanted to do) professional treatment, thorough examination and explanation of treatment. Dr. Nelson was terrific! This is my new Vet Clinic! Thank you

I use to love this place. We brought my family dogs here growing up and when I adopted my first dog as an adult, I brought him here as well. I would say over the last year the service has declined. I've brought my dog in for some allergy problems and I feel as the veterinarians don't listen and hand out steroids as the solution. I ended up getting a second opinion at Marschall Road Vet Clinic in Shakopee. WOW. Night and day difference. Fantastic vets, super helpful. Actually treat the problem instead of offering steroids as a temporary fix. Also, I carry pet insurance and need doctors notes. The last time I came in the doctor refused to let me have a copy. Although, I've been in before and they were provided. It's a hassle and not worth supporting the local vet office anymore.

This vet is fantastic. Dr Amy and the support staff at this clinic, were the sole vet for the entire life of my 11 year old dog. Gave solid advice never recommended anything that was not needed cared for my dog like they were taking care of me. I would not take my pets to anyone else as long as Amy is practicing. You have to keep in mind that most people that receive great service don't bother to point it out. Ignore the negatives here, For 11 years my dog got outstanding care not once a bad experience here. 11 years is plenty of opportunity to have something to post that was negative and i cant.

I dont usually write reviews but I had to this time. We recently moved to the area and were looking for a vet closer to home. Based on the newer reviews, My husband took our new rescue Pitbull pup for a wellness visit. Well let me say that we will not be revisiting. The front desk staff were very rude. Now let me say that the actual doctor was nice but the coldness from the rest of the staff was very off putting. He arrived on time but walked in two minutes after the appointment start because our baby had to go potty. Upon arrival he was greeted with a "your already late!", um ok. He was told to go weigh our baby without any help turning on and using the scale. He was also asked how much he paid the rescue for her and when he told them, the response was " for that amount , I would have gotten a puppy!" Really?! He was put into a room to wait for the doctor when another owner came in with their dog. But what was disturbing was the warm reception they received. So what was the problem with us? The only difference I could tell was that we were a different demographic with a Pitbull. At least thats what it seemed like. I have never been to a vet that made us feel so uncomfortable. So no, they will not be getting anymore of our business.
