Could be better. That being said, some aren't very Professional. When I can have a conversation with owner about why I'm leaving, a good 1hr and 1/2...then deny UI benefits after calling me and I didn't want to come back...."I will deny your UI claim!" Done already skipped on by this one. This is exactly why he can't find drivers.

I was employed by MCD Express for approximately 8 months I found the owner Ron to be very helpful and very kind and considerate person until I became injured for the first several months of my injury he was all concerned about my recovery and his time went on I heard less and less from the owner and as it became apparent that I was going to have to have surgery to fix my injury and that I was going to be off longer than expected he became very rude uncaring unwilling to help me I come to find it he's a very dishonest and unreputable owner going as far to tell his dispatcher to lie about the injury to the insurance company so that they would not have to pay me for my surgery I worked very hard for this company for a continuous months gave them everything that they asked for me to do and went above and beyond even some of the rules and regulations of dot to make sure his freight got delivered on time I eventually settled the case and got the surgery done paying out of my own pocket I would suggest anyone looking for a career opportunity working for MCD Express look elsewhere.

In my opinion MCD express is a solid company. They offer well maintained late model equipment. The health and retirement benefits are top of the Line. Both owners have an open door policy and the drivers that I have met go out of the way to help the new guy my expectations are to retire with MCD
