Literally the BEST experience I've ever had at a Joann Fabrics. And I've been to all of the locations in the metro and Central MN. I highly recommend the Faribault location if you have a choice. I had a very large amount of fabric that I was helped with at the cutting counter by two of the staff members and instead of being annoyed by my heaping carts full of fabric (like every other location treats me) they were warm, welcoming, kind, and were cracking jokes to keep the mood light and the line that was forming entertained. This was above and beyond my expectations for customer service at this store, so much so that I needed to write a raving review as my customer experience seems to be on the decline at many stores lately. I was just blown away by how pleasant my experience was here. Keep up the great work and give the guys there that helped me out a raise ;).

So I was there on Friday after 9 am and found they don't open til 10. The website said they opened at 9. Went there this morning at 10 per door instructions saying opening at 2. You lost 2 sales to Walmart due to you not being open for business. This is unfortunate because I would prefer to buy from yoy over Walmart.

I did an online order. Was disappointed that the website did not have the 108 inch color that I wanted being I found one on hat would work. Waited, about an hour later it said that it was done. When I went in to pick it up she was so snarky about seeing my confirmation code. I hate comming in to the store because of their snarkiness.

I needed 15 inches of a wide cotton. I bought 1/2 yard. It was so crooked so I started to rip the edges and I'm down to 15-1/2 inches and I haven't cleared an edge yet. Tried working from both ends. **PLEASE** teach the staff how to rip cotton for a straight edge, especially on the wide cotton.UPDATE: Rating upgraded. I called the store and they had me bring it in. I was informed they don't ever rip their cotton. So always get extra. The employee gave me an even exchange for my troubles with 6 extra inches so I can rip it when I get home and still have what I need.

Ordered online for pick up at store. Easy to use website and my order was ready to go on 2 hours on a Sunday. Lots of fabric and craft items to choose from.

Bought a sewing machine from the Faribault store and was told by the associate that it is ready to use out of the box. After winding the bobbin and getting stuff set up which wasn't easy cuz the instructions suck but finally ready to sew and it didn't work. I went to return or exchange it and the manager informs me the there is a $25 restocking fee.Won't ever shop here again!

The workers didn't care to help. Had to walk around the store to located someone that would help. Won't be going here again
