Has gone downhill from what it once was. Overpriced and 2 out of 3 times I've bought milk here, not all that long ago, it has had either a really strange indescribable flavor, is going sour, or both. It's like it wasn't kept cold. The doughnuts used to be good, but I wouldn't eat them if they were free now. I've seen them covered in fruit flies as well as flies, and it's disgusting to think that they sell them to people and people eat them. Some of the stores smell of b.o., garbage, or worse. Wal-mart is way better price wise, and I've never been in one that smelled as bad as some of the hy-vee's do. Pay attention to expiration dates if you shop here too, I've seen a lot of expired stuff on shelves and in the coolers.

Worst place ever.Will never shop or recommend to anyone especially for employment, they treat them like dirt.Best grocery store hardly, they fired a hearing impaired employee who couldn't hear the intrcom.I wouldn't call that the best.
