Sure did like doing business here. Have had Hogs processed for the last three years. Great people, good product and packaging. But when I picked up my meat this year the price TRIPLED. Not 5 or 10 percent, it tripled, when prices jump 600 dollars time to find a new butcher. Shame to because I was really happy with their service.

This butcher actually listens to how you want your meat cut and processed! Something that a few of the last butchers locally we tried does not do. Also if they receive a request for something cut a particular way and know that I would lose other cuts I probably wanted, they say something and clarify. I have used another butcher last year for a hog that was brought in. This other butcher did not tell me that the person who I bought the hog from brought them an old dried up sow, but processed it anyway. Tough meat and huge price. Also all of my ground (which was 165 lbs) was full of tiny ground up bones. They just saw a big price tag and I got screwed.Fairmont Butcher Block would NEVER DO THAT! They are honest and have competitive prices. Most of all, I trust that I can count on them to provide excellent service, great processing and prices that are fair. I highly recommend Fairmont Butcher Block!

Always a fantastic place to find that special perfect supper to make my hard working husband. Everything we have purchased and prepared has been divine thus far. We are extremely pleased to have a local butcher. And to our family customer service and knowledgeable staff are equally as important as the high quality you expect of your meat from a butcher shop. Great job guys, we will definitely will continue being loyal customers. The only thing I would like different is the option to purchase meat bundles to fill freezer. Unfortunately because of this, we do have to go to another out of town butcher to fill our freezer. Perhaps that can be something to look forward to in the future! If you guys sold bundles we definitely buy local. But absolutely no complaints here! Like I said, I do come here to buy that special something for celebratory dinners and for simply a yummy meal different from whats usual. Thanks guys!

I’ve been on a bit of a bad streak with butchers trying to get a high quality roast. This place abruptly halted that with their bone-in chuck roast! Slow cooked all day, this thing literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. It was tender and juicy, marbled with the perfect amount of beef fat - literally a perfectly cut roast. It paired perfectly with onion, potato and carrot. I’m thoroughly impressed.

The Garlic Summer Sausage is fantastic!! Just cooked up some Raspberry Chipotle Bacon and are loving it! Prices are grocery store level but the quality is top notch!! Worth every penny! Thanks for the great products!

The smoked pork chops are out of this world good !!! They come vacuum sealed, so don't be afraid to freeze them. They're just as juicy and flavorful out of the freezer as they are fresh. Will be having my son & daughter-in-law bring us up another dozen when they come up to visit in September. The brats are also to die for !!!
