Had been customers of EVC/LVC from about 2007 until 2020 and have had several pets treated by various doctors there. In hind sight, there were several warning signs that separately could have been looked past as oversights or just bad timing or luck, but added together with everything shows the incompetence and lack of follow through/caring/empathy for your beloved pet. A few examples: there was a clear lack of educating us after a C-section on our GS dog that had puppies which directly led to the death of one of the pups and could have included all of them as we were called 3 days later by Dr. to be told how to make them pee/poop if mom wasn't doing it, which she hadn't been. Luckily I already knew this. Same Dr. gave very little education when another dog started having seizures which led to this dogs death. When a second dog started having seizures we were assigned to a different Dr. and were made to feel it was no big deal to treat as he also has a dog with seizures. We were happy up until seizures weren't really controlled and Dr. started adding and taking away drugs on what seemed like a trial and error method. From there we went to a seizure every 2 weeks to several every day for almost 2 months which was most likely caused by that. They even screwed up the referral to the U of M Neuro and then refused to back that Dr. for a refill of meds when we were nearly out. After that I transferred all pet records to a new vet. I later received a letter acknowledging my dissatisfaction in my pets care from them and was then asked not to come back to the Lewiston or Eyota vet clinics. No worries, I would never think of it and I will never recommend anyone take their own beloved pets there either.
