“My son and I were on a cross country trip from Seattle to Boston when the purge valves on the emissions system of our 2004 Subaru Forester failed. We were just outside of Minneapolis and based on other reviews opted to try and see if TGK in Eden Prarie could squeeze us in on short notice so we could continue on our journey. I called late in the afternoon on a Wednesday and the shop agreed to see if they could resolve or issues the following morning. I dropped the care off at 8am. Check in was smooth as all of the information from the call the night before was in the appointment. By 10 am the diagnostic had been done and I was sent an inspection report and estimate for the needed repairs and recommendations for some others. I called the shop and and after a brief discussion with the service advisor I approved the necessary repairs and they assured me the repairs would be completed by the end of the business day. I have worked in auto repair for the past 26 years and the report I was sent was by far the most professional I have ever seen. Thorough and understandable with digital photos no less. Around 4:30pm I received another text and email advising that the repairs were completed. After a brief text exchange I was sent a link to pay the bill online and arranged to pick up the car after hours. After a full day of taking in the Mall of America and doing my best to keep up with an 18 year old on all of the rides in the amusement area we took a Lyft back to Eden Prairie and picked up our car. The repairs were all completed as detailed on the report and we happily motored on to Boston without further mechanical trouble. My only regret is that we live in Alaska and my son is attending college in Boston so it is unlikely that we'll be able to use TGK for repairs in the future. Our experience with TGK - Eden Prairie couldn't have gone any better.”

“The best thing I could tell you about why you should go to Auto Pros is I’ve been going to them for 39 years. Today I went for an alignment and Tyler. The mechanic absolutely nailed it. Joe, the front desk guy and also mechanic kept me apprised throughout the day what was happening. And the cost $105 with tax. If I would’ve gone to a Toyota dealer the same alignment would’ve cost me over $200.
Hey Toyota owners. This shop is the real deal. Got a new Rav4 and steering wheel out of alignment and dealer says it is within specs. They said they would fix it and 3 days later steering wheel again out of alignment. Took it to Auto Pros who said Toyota did and alignment without doing the required steering wheel alignment. Forget the dealership and to to Auto Pros in Chaska and soon another shop in Shakopee. Honest mechanics and shop front desk guys. I have been going here for 39 years.”

“The wire leading from my hood release lever broke at the hood latch. More work than I was willing to put in and needing tools that I don't have. My brakes also needed some new pads. Came out to just above $1400. I didn't think was too terrible, but seeing the itemized bill shows they actually replaced all 4 rotors and new, better than basic pads. Quite reasonably priced if you ask me. No corporate overlords to suck money out of the business. Keep up the good work fellas. I'll be back.”

He was knowledgeable, personable, and listened to what I had to say about my vehicle. He also worked up several quotes for new tires that I will need in short order and took into account several options that I wouldn't have considered had he not suggested them. The tech that worked on my car, sorry I don't remember his name, completed the work quickly and accurately and I couldn't be happier about my experience!”

“We had vehicle trouble on 494 and thankfully were able to pull off a ramp that landed us close to this auto business. It was only a few minutes before closing time, and these guys were kind, helpful, and top notch. Weston never hesitated helping out, even though we didn't have an appointment and it was close to closing time. They plugged the car into their scanner, looked up the code to help diagnose the problem, and let us know if we were able to operate the vehicle safely an hour back home. “The service is good, never had any issues. They are quick and know what they are doing. You can just buy tires or you can also have them put on there. There are places to sit if you need to wait and it's in a small mall. The prices are good and there is always some type of sale. I definitely recommend.”

I had a battery that needed to be replaced that evidently had a bad cell and they got me in right away and took care of me so I would not have to be worried about be stranded anywhere. “On a Friday, I drive to subway for dinner. When I was leaving, someone in the parking lot asked me if I knew that my front tire on the passenger side was flat. I did not. I drove slowly to heartland tire and they were closed but there was one employee still there and he told me I couldn’t get a new tire until Monday. He did offer me a loaner car, though, which I used and even though I wasn’t happy about my tire, I was happy to have the loaner car. They were able to fix it on Monday and I had my car back!”

“We live on a street with lots of construction the past 2 years. They've patched 3 tires with nails, recently swapped snow tires for summer tires at a fraction of the dealer's cost. All service was done timely and professionally at very reasonable charges. Plus, they are more than willing to help out with minor DIY questions during a phone call that eliminates the need for a service visit. How often does that happen anymore?”
