Little more in cost than L&B, but the location was convenient. We picked out some tasty items not in the Deli Department (like I thought we would), but in the sushi/rolls area. It was very nice to have everything right there: chopsticks/extra soy sauce/selection of different rolls. Michael at the register was a rock star-finding and adding a rubber band to our packaging (since the packaging probably would have popped open). We enjoyed our alfresco lunch in the park, thanks to Kowalski's (and Michael).

Great store and selection. Staff is always helpful and friendly- I really want to LOVE this store. There is so much crap in the passageways and walking spaces that shoppers are constantly walking into each other- coupled with the fact that most people in this area walk around using their phone, head in the air, and not really paying attention. Anyway remove some of the crap crowding the aisles and it'd be a ***** store.

Don't get a Starbucks and think you can drink it while shopping. They should probably put up a sign saying they don't allow you to do it instead of have a coffee shop in the middle of their store and then yell at you for drinking it. Horrible customer service. Rude to their customers. I won't be coming back.

Well, after both Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners (over$100 ea), kowalskis is always my first choice. Until today. I wanted to order about $50-75 in groceries. I sent in a request and someone from Eagan called me. Obviously the wrong store as I live in Excelsior. She recommended I call you, which I did. I was told by whomever answered that no, she could/would not help me. I had to do the order online even though there were items I can’t find.

Terrible COVID mask discipline among staff. Reported the issue via their website contact. Went back a week later and saw more problems (BUSINESSES - FACE SHIELDS OFFER NO PROTECTION FOR YOUR STAFF OR CUSTOMERS). Their contact app has a CAPTCHA that is impossible to get through. This tells me that their management JUST. DOES. NOT. CARE. ABOUT. COVID. Not shopping there again until vaccine.

Have always loved Kowalskis but today they went so far above and beyond! Have been carefully planning grocery pickup orders and limiting to once a week or less. Somehow my order glitched and I got home with about half of what I ordered. When I called the store, the manager very kindly took my order item by item over the phone and personally shopped for it- even offered to deliver it if needed! Then imagine my shock when they refused to charge me for the items missed! It was a lot and we would have been out of food without it! I am so grateful and a loyal customer! Thank you thank you!!!

I called before driving 25 miles round trip to check if they had a red blend wine that I wanted. They said they did but when I drove there, they said they were mistaken and they had only 4 bottles available. I had difficulty getting in the liquor store because the grocery carts were blocking the door and I use a walker to ambulate.

This morning I went shopping at 6:00 AM because of the COVID-19 virus and I was the only shopper there for a while. I was so pleased with the service and how accommodating everyone was. Thank you for being so kind and considerate!!

Kowalski's has great food but at high prices. But the thing that really bugs me about them is that they refuse to stop offering samples in single-use plastic cups with tiny plastic spoons. My friends and I have written to them to ask them to stop doing that, but they just blithely keep doing it. Until they are more environmentally sound, I won't be back. Our oceans are full of microplastics as it is.

After s The patisserie two blocks Away, I stopped here on July 4 at 13:15 to check the place and croissant. It was a very busy place was organized clean and staff seemed to be keeping up with the pressure of July 4 sakes. Croissant was crunchy on outside and buttery inside. I sat by the main street patio. Nice area. Parking is wide. Excellent location.

Some refer to another market as 'whole paycheck'! Take a look at this Kowalski's and let your eyes bulge. No not just the trophy wives that seem to frequent the aisles with big smiles and designer outfit chatting about volunteer efforts and the latest french wine. I checked on the Swedish meatballs in the deli and found they are at least two dollars more than Lunds Byerlys and they are smaller and only four in a container. The market has an almost euro feel as there are transition points, samples, suggestions, neatly uniformed employees. Beautiful breads which you'll bag yourself, (but for no savings), colorful pastries etc. The selection is great but hey I'll head over to Lunds Byerlys any day as long as there is one nearby.
