Being the daughter of the woman in hospice who fell. I was very disappointed that it happened being we had told them she was trying to get out of bed on two nights. I once was a CNA and understand that these things can happen but hope and pray this will help them to see we were concerned. The staff in the evenings was great and I am glad it is a great place to work. We need compassionate and caring people with all those in the nursing home. I will not bash this place but only have to things for all to ask themselves. If this were your family member how would you feel? What kind of person would I be if I wasn't concerned?I just ask please listen to family members and know this is a loved one.

Saying I'm disappointed in the care my grandma received here for hospice would be putting it nicely. Moved to tears and infuriated might be better. Staff is rude and lacks compassion. Further, staff does not listen to family regarding care. My grandma fell off the bed and seriously injured herself. We warned them she was agitated and was trying to get up, even with the little strength she has left, and we even told them we wanted rails on the bed. They didn't do it. And sure enough she fell. Even after that they didn't get a mat to put on the floor for protection until well after the fact. What kind of care is this? Options are limited in this area, but if you have an option to have your loved one go to another place, TAKE IT AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE.
