My mukluks are very warm, not much support. After a few years, the soles stared to decompose. They are becoming like chewing gum. Steger support said they can't resole them. I talked to people at Marshall Hardware about trying to recoat them, they said others have come in with the same problem. Someone reported this on Redit. It's time for Steger to find another formula for their soles. It would have been nice if they offered a discount on a new pair of.

Own several pairs of Mukluks and Mocs. The best for warmth and durability.Had a wonderful experience exchanging a pair for another size this past week. In a time of limited staffing the solo employee, Theresa gave us wonderful customer service. We were made to feel she'd spend all day ensuring we got the correct fit. Thanks Theresa!

I've been envying my sister's Steger Mukluks for years. My husband bought for me at Christmas after I dropped a few hints. I love them! So warm and very comfortable and cute too. I have the arctic weathermate with ribbon. I wish I would have bought them sooner! Thank you Thank you!

Purchased a pair from the store 3 years ago. 2 winters in they developed a hole in the sole, Steger couldn't fix it. My boyfriend surprised me a couple weeks ago by ordering the exact same pair and size from Steger. They were too small. No big deal really, we sent them back to exchange them, but Steger will not allow us to even exchange to a new size simply because we added the weatherproof spray to the boots before returning, because we expected the same size shoe to fit since I haven't grown any... Well they didn't because Steger shanged thier measurements on boots and no longer has a brick and mortar store to try on boots. Anyway, low quality wear and poor customer service has led me to decide not to shop here again. Sorrels are cheaper and wear better.

Purchased a pair of Arctic Mitts and noticed that the lining on one of the mitts would not lie flat, and bunched in the mitt (maybe the liner was cut too large?). Called customer service and they suggested some things I do to get it to lie flat. Kept wearing the mitts and trying to get this liner to stay flat, and I missed the return period. Left a mediocre review on their website, which never did show up in the reviews. Called customer service again and explained how disappointed I am in these mitts, and that my review wasn't on their website. Lukewarm interest from the customer service rep. Stuck with a mitt that is irritating to wear because of the liner bunching. I'll be going elsewhere to purchase winter clothing.

Bought the quetico tall boots after my friend was telling me about them. They did not disappoint. Look amazing, really comfortable and warm, high quality material, and well made. I highly recommend.

shittiest customer service i've ever seen.... was told 3 weeks out, was 11 weeks later, then got an email saying issue with my card.... I didn't get the email till about 48 hours later and when I called to give correct card information they said "your order was given to another customer, you will have to wait another 11 weeks" what kind of business does that? WOW

I am disappointed with my experience ordering from Steger Mukluks. Steger made a shipping error when sending my order - not the end of the world. However, the customer service representative that I spoke with while trying to get things sorted was immediately agitated and told me it wasn't their problem, swore at me, and hung up on me. I couldn't believe it - truly the worst customer experience I've had. I've worked retail jobs myself so I can be empathetic about a bad day, but this was on another level entirely. I’m a full time student, so big purchases like this are made after careful consideration - I wanted to love Steger because of their local craftsmanship, but after receiving treatment like that I'd rather shop elsewhere and I advise others to do the same.

I really do love my Steger Mukluks. They are light and very warm. The main drawback, and it's pretty bad I think, is that the soles get all gummy and gross. I'm on my 3rd pair of boots, plus have had the moccasins. All did this. The company is zero help. They don't fix or replace. The last 2 pair started getting gummy right away, which is so sad. I don't see buying another pair in the future because of this issue.

I have bought 2 pairs in the last 25 years. First pair lasted 20 years before I had to replace them.i can honestly say you buy these you will never buy another pair of boots comfortable light as bedroom slippers hand made moosehide. warmest boot made

I would like a call back immediately...I just placed an order, so your system will have my information. I called over 5 times one afternoon and no answer. I am disappointed because at the time the mukluks I wanted online were not available, so I chose another style. Then 3 days later I went on and they were available. I already paid for the more expensive shipping...with my second choice. Also while calling I wanted to know what kind of spray to protect my boots and again no answer. So besides an additional lost revenue for you, which now I will have to drive 40 min out of the way to buy in Duluth. You officially have a displeased customer that has never done a Google review this low besides Burger King, because your website doesn't have an email or FB messaging for a more discrete way of handling this...you made my Christmas present just substandard. I hope we can resolve this, so I can delete this review. I also know your stock is low, so I dont want to hear that response because this all could have been avoided with any customer service relevant or substandard.*Edit- Thank you for the call back, yet after a lot of thought and consideration this review will stay up. It was apparent in your tone and customer service today that I was an inconvenience to you while we spoke. I suggest customer service and conflict resolution training for dealing with customers on your behalf.

I was so excited to purchase my very first pair of mukluks. I come to untie them from around the heel to spray my boots, and it looks like the laces were sliced in multiple places with a knife. I called to explain my issue and the customer service was handled very poorly. Fortunately, I spoke to someone else after the fact and it had improved. But I am very disappointed with this and their customer service.
