Worst experience at a bank I have ever had. It is fitting they only have a 3 star average review based on this poor service. Jill Marie Davis is a thief and over charged me for cashing a payroll check. I do this every week at other locations as I get paid mileage weekly In the form of a paper check and never have I been charged the fees that Jill made me pay today, I requested a manager and there was no manager in apparently. She also made me extremely uncomfortable asking personal questions about my last name and then stating oh we have someone else with ur last name we have been trying to contact in regards to a overdue balance. I was adopted at a young age an my name was changed and had to explain all of this to her out of embarrassment. Do yourself a favor and follow up with her service methods

My husband and I made an appointment in September to open up a trust account and we were meeting with Jill. As soon as we entered the lobby, we had arrived early, she offered us coffee while we waited for our scheduled time with her. (That was one of the best cups of coffee I had ever had.)Jill was not familiar with the type of trust account we were setting up but she very kindly and patiently got the information that she needed and helped us open the account. We were very thankful for how efficient she was in answering any question we had and if she didn't know she found out. What was a difficult day for us she put us at ease.

This place is a joke.Terrible phone service and in-person customer care is flaccid at best. You'd be better off putting your money anywhere else before you use this branch of wellsfargo.

If I could give zero starts I would. Went to make an auto payment in store like I have been in Monticello for years. Applied as a “principal only” payment, and even though I made a $700 payment I’m getting a collections call from Wells Fargo despite making my payment a WEEK EARLY. I said I wanted the “extra” to go towards principal, not the entire payment. This branch’s incompetence almost hurt my credit when I’ve been making on time payments for years. Thankfully I had the receipt when I called them back. And thankfully I got rained out at work today and actually had “time” to call them during business hours. These incompetent tellers can’t be trusted with your money.

We've noticed that service in this location was going down for last couple of years and all the best, most professional, knowledgeable and helpful bankers left this location. Most our banking is drive through operations but today I happen to be serviced inside as I needed to get signature notarized. And do you think they helped me with that)? Lol NO instead of smoothly doing her job banker decided deeply dive into my business and made decision she can't notarize it lol. I notarize same paperwork(contract) yearly since 2013. Manager Todd supported own employee thus he's head of all issues as I can see it. He is the one turned this place in something undescribable in normal language, Since he only work there year or two.We have been customers with WF since 2008 , had business, credit and personal accounts with WT. BUT it's time to move on. There's at least 3 banks within half mile. We are tired of this location. I'm not moving because WF management hire clerks on management positions. Value your customers. Without customers you are not business.

Ryan, the store manager is words I can not say on here. I’ve banked with Wells Fargo for decades. And have never met a Ryan Before. Lol. That guy should be a clerk. Because he had no idea what I went to bank for. He then told me I needed to make an appointment for help. Which would be in a week. I was the only person in the bank. He made a power play just to be a you know what. I almost closed my account, but that would let him win. My advice is stay away from Ryan. Super passive aggressive ?

So glad I switched here. Amy was very helpful, kind and gave me a lot of her time even when I didn’t have an appointment.

We were victims of fraud on our account. Someone stole over $300.00. When we sought help to get out money back we waited on hold for 54 minutes on the telephone. The next step of the process I waited over 20 minutes before I hung up. If you want to see someone in person at the branch you will have to wait over a week. I waited and went into the bank and the banker was not helpful at all. She kept making obstacles for me to close our accounts. If we wanted to find out what happened on our accounts we have to wait 30 days just to find out. But at the same time, if we did not pay the amount stolen before 30 days they would send us to collections. No desire to help customers prevent or assist with fraud. Lots of delays and rules set up to punish the customers when they are victims of fraud. Then when you try to get your money out of the bank they have all kinds of reasons why you cannot. Horrible.
