Absolutely insane on what they're trying to charge for junk. Higher than retail. Won't be back.

I have found some good deals on clothing but frankly most everything else is ridiculously expensive not thrifty. I have been told that their profits are used to help those in need and I know that to be true in the past, however, the SAL needs to remember that their customers are mostly lower income. Salvation Army, stop hosing the poor!

My husband loves this "junk" store. I secretly do, too. This place is a million times better than any Goodwill. I love finding hidden gems.

Do not donate at this store unless you are ok with they items being auctioned by the employees. Goodwill auctions their items online but is transparent about their policies. The staff, including manager at this location have made inconsistent statements about online auctions. Additionally, the male manager demeaned younger female staff in a attempt to retract statements made regarding auctions. The actions of the manager do not reflect the views and policies of the Salvation Army. It was very disappointing as this is one of the very few organizations left that is Christian and empowers the community. As, some employees are in recovery, it is disappointing to see a manager display such behavior.

Had a rude worker address me at the store basically telling me I'm not welcome there because I don't believe in any gods. I grew up Christian and am very disappointed in her. She was the type of nosey rude Christian that makes Christians look bad. It's easy to say you're a Christian but it's a lot harder to be a good one. That's why I left the faith, because of trashy Christians like herJust sucks that their God doesn't discriminate but they do. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

I was there today (14April23) and I have NEVER been treated so rudely by an employee in my life. (Blonde older lady with no nametag) My co-shopper and I were discussing religion because of the BLARING religious music in this location. Said employee came to us and went off on us because it is a "Christian Establishment". I guess "Christians" equates to not loving thy neighbor or to do onto others in this store. I have NEVER felt so attacked by an employee on my life! I should be able to shop in peace and not be harassed because of the way I look and a discussion between me and my co-shopper. I should have read the reviews online before going here, they're all about bad customer service. I will NOT be back, unfortunately, and I frequent Salvation Army and have financially supported for decades. A sad state of affairs in an already vile state of our country.
