Usually the employees are nice and welcoming and very helpful but unfortunately I was treated properly by a female employee today just because I asked for a roll of quarters I got attitude and was Belittled .

I have made multiple deposits using only my wife’s ID and bank card at this location. Yesterday, May 12th, I tried to make a deposit without them and was not allowed to. Okay fine. But now Today, May 13th, the lady working would not allow me to make a deposit. Even tho I had my wife’s ID and bank card like previous times of deposit. When I was here May 9th they had no issues allowing a deposit. Super consistent and convenient said nobody….fn joke!!Bank with The Bank of Elk River. Have had minimal issues with The Bank of Elk River

When it comes to this bank I just don’t trust them anymore. Falsely advertising standby cash then eventually lowering amount every month or so then suspending standby cash is ridiculous…

My spouse has stage 4 cancer. He is on chemo and is immunosuppressed so is avoiding public as possible. He signed a check to me to deposit in my account. Despite being with TCF since 1987 and this branch since 1999. They would not take the check without him coming in. I explained his heath challenges and asked if they could call him and view his ID on the phone. Nope. He banks at Wells Fargo so they simply would not. I AM NOT a new customer and have more than enough in my own accounts to cover the amount of the check. Thinking with this brand of so called service it might be time for a change. Makes me sad to be honest.

The last 2 times I went thru the drive thru the customer service was horrible. They never said HI or how ru?? And then they just sent back the carrier with no thank u or have a good day!!! They said NOTHING!!!! This is not how 2 keep customers at your bank!!!

Negative Star. A teller tried to steal about $40 bucks from a large withdrawal I made through the drive thru. I always double check my withdrawal amount bc I know some tellers like to steal. And this teller tried to get away with it, but did not. so don't go here if you don't want your money stolen from you.

I hate it now they they changed to Huntington. Absolutely terrible. There are two reps who are always friendly, I avoid the rest. The lines are insane, though they have calmed down. There were lines of 14+ people in the lobby everyday. Drive through takes much much longer than it should. I heard an employee going aroubd the lobby giving what turned out to be wrong information.I had needed something notarized so I went in. I told the girl I needed it notarized and handed her my license. She REFUSED to sign it unless I told her what it was. Saying that she wasn't going to sign anything blindly. I was speechless. I gave her a very basic answer. When I needed another document notarized I went in again . I told her that her one and only job is to check my license to verify that I am who I say I am and to sign that she was witness to me signing the document. I told her that what she witnessing being signed was none of her business and she cannot be demanding the information.

Get rude service when you try to pull cash out it is not your business what I need my money for if I want to take out large sum every day I can it’s my money maybe I want to throw it in a tub and take a bath with it out dig holes in my yard and Bury it none the less it not you problem
