Just wanted to give a shout out to this particular location; Leroy reminded me why shopping in person can be a significantly more positive experience. He was extremely helpful, showed us all the relevant chairs that were in stock and explained how many models were available/what floor models were available/what could be customized--notch service and information!

False marketing. Unaccountable business model. I purchased the Portside patio dining table, chairs, and bench. The items were marketed as “contract grade” and how they are “built to last”. All pieces have started splitting in 9 months even with furniture covers. I contacted customer service several times and they all said patio furniture is EXCLUDED from the warranty and it doesn’t matter if it’s contract grade or not. So, don’t get scammed into the whole “Contract Grade” marketing gimmick. There’s a reason why they don’t have customer testimonials and reviews for their products.

Bought a sofa through the store that came "highly recommended" but wore out in less than 6 months. I was initially told when purchasing that "customer support for this order would be through the folks at this store" but that was not actually the case. My case with the remote customer support team was closed with no communication and the note was to "fluff the pillows". The issue is much more serious than that. I am a brand loyal customer who has bought three sofas, a full size dining table, chandelier, coffee table, end tables and countless decor items but the lack of resolution or communication on this has me weary to purchase anything significant from West Elm in the future.

Would give zero stars if possible. We spent several thousand dollars here and the furniture started to wear out within a year. I called customer service and was told since it had been more than a year (12 months and 2 weeks) since delivery date there is nothing they can do.I spent hours on the phone with customer service and was disconnected multiple times before getting this answer and being told to seek a third party upholstering company. What a waste of money

Still waiting for a rug I ordered in August. My credit card was billed when I placed the order, so paying on something I've yet to receive. It originally said September, then October and now November - but I 'm sure I won't get it this month as it looks like it hasn't even arrived at their distribution center. Don't sell items you don't have.

Wife and I came in looking for some new items for our house. Salesperson was very condescending, made some rude comments to us and we left pretty quick. Not sure how this place stays open with that kind of service at those prices.

Had a very frustrating experience with customer service. Ordered a kitchen table that did not arrive within the stated delivery window. Ended up having to have three separate phone calls, two of which were disconnected. I was told I would receive a call back, which I never did. I was charged twice for shipping on a portion of my delivery. I repeatedly received wrong and conflicting information, and West Elm took no responsibility or made any real efforts at making things right. I like their furniture, but the frustration of dealing with customer service to not make it worth it for me.

Horrible customer service. We walked around the store for 15 minutes and not one sales associate asked us if we needed help. Then we went and found a sales associate, asked them to help to find a couch and they basically told us to look online. We walked out upset and they just put their head back down in their computer and kept ignoring the store full of customers. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible customer service associates. Isn’t their job to sell furniture?
