I’m not surprised to see negative reviews with name DAVID!
My pharmacy ran out of my medication and he checked out other medications and this location in Edina has it.
I’d called the number my pharmacist gave me and when called, I’ve noticed right away how rude DAVID was.
I explained to him why I have to come to this location, he asked me tell my pharmacist to order the medication.
I told him, they’re no longer ordering it and he replied “if we can order they can too!”
So I ran back into my pharmacy and asked DAVID to say that to my pharmacist.
After They’ve been spoken to each other on the phone, my pharmacist told me they DAVID will refill my prescription.
When I got there I saw CVS pharmacy, right next to where that RUDE DAVID works at, I decided not to deal him and went to CVS and got my prescription!

These people are so rude. It never fails I can only count on one hand how many people actually have good customer service. If you don’t want to work and help people don’t work there. The behavior is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. They should be shamed and fired immediately.

I was on my way to the airport and had a last minute medication to fill. They went above and beyond and had it ready right away. It was greatly appreciated!

Never in my life have I been blatantly DISRESPECTED by an employee, I highly recommend they train their staff basic customer service. David the pharmacy tech not only made us wait in line for over a half hour in line to pick up pain medication for my fiancés knee replacement surgery he had, but after waiting for over a half hour he told us we needed to come in, seeing as there were more important customers to handle. As attached a photo of my fiancé literally a half hour after his surgery, walking in- even though there’s a perfectly good drive thru. I highly recommend you go ANYWHERE else if you’d like to be treated like q basic human being. David, I pray your pillows are forever warm on both sides.

Given the wrong medication.
I got home and took a dose of the meds I had received then got a call that they gave me the wrong ones and I should hurry back to the store ASAP to get the correct ones. The ones I re lived were for depression. I was pees ribed a muscle relaxer. I got sick and was told to drink a lot of water. Nothing else

Got my vaccine here and the person who gave it to me was unprofessional and made “jokes” about giving me the wrong vaccine. Unconscionable!

Skimming previous review n u know it's bad when someone who works in the pharmacy has gone through the trouble of creating fake accounts give good reviews mentioning the pharmacy, that's uber lame

Im a CVS costumer, but when I needed to have assistance for medications over the counter and I needed assistance no one couldn’t help me, I tried 2 different locations one in Bloomington and other in Target
I came to Walgreens by York in Edina and Jennifer Olson approached me and offered me her assistance, Ian from the pharmacy also assured in finding the right items I needed for my colonoscopy.
Thank you so much for your valuable support. People like you makes the big difference.

This pharmacy has never been good but the last year it has got so much worse. First of all Google said they were completely closed for a while and the numbers weren’t even ringing the store. Thought the place closed down, then it says they’re open, their hours on google are never accurate. Pharmacists will say scripts aren’t there when they 100% are. Bathrooms closed to the public, toddler was about to pee on their floor there and they didn’t care. If you don’t have open bathrooms and are refusing to let a toddler in to not pee himself then ??♀️ pee on the floor is what they want I guess. Multiple employees said no to the bathroom in a rude way, no empathy or anything, all the employees suck and have a power trip. Don’t know how this place is still operating.

I had thought the worst Walgreens in MN was in St. Michael. I was wrong. I went in to get some Ice Breakers Mints (IBMs) at the York Ave Walgreens--the 1.5 oz. mints in the dispenser package. The price label stated 2/$5.00. I didn't need 2, but thought that was a reasonable price, as they normally cost $2.69 to $2.99 in grocery store, gas stations, etc.
When I went to check out, the clerk said, "That'll be $10" (!!!). I said, "The price shown is two for five." He said, "That's for if you have a membership. Do you have a membership?"
I thought, "MEMBERSHIP!? I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' MEMBERSHIP!"
I politely stated he could keep the mints, and I drove across the street to the Target store. There, I bought 1 pkg of IBMs for $2.99. NOT FIVE DOLLARS EACH!!! Rip people off much????

I contacted the York Walgreens at 10 PM on 3/2/2024 regarding a delayed medication. I was informed that the insurance only covered a 90-day supply, not a 30-day supply as prescribed. When I expressed surprise at this, the pharmacist advised me to inquire with the insurance company. I opted for an out-of-pocket purchase for a shorter supply. Out of curiosity, I called other Walgreens locations and discovered that the said pharmacisit simply needed to scroll down the page to override the denial. I wondered where Walgreens finds such individuals.
