Don't use a credit card at the pop up location in the Dayton's building downtown. I did, and my card info was used fraudulently soon after. Only place I'd used the card.

Cute shop with lots of great gifts including stickers, jewelry, French Soaps, cards, socks, accessories, clothes etc. Well worth the visit. Shop owner was very nice and it was hard to leave without buying anything. There is also plenty of free ramp parking nearby.

I find wonderful gifts at Shop in The City. T-shirts, hand towels with Edina zip code, one-of-a-kind items. Really unique. It was hard for me to find. 1/2 block off France Ave. in an alley type location. But, I’m new in town and don’t know the out of the way locations. It’s worth the search though!!

Love this store! This past Christmas, I bought most of my gifts here. This past Sunday on 4/7, I played Bingo at the American Legion in Chaska, and 5 ladies came up to me and asked me where I got my Daytons shirt. Shop in the City!

I've lived SW mpls for 10 years and discovered this gem of a store just a month ago. You will not be able to walk in here and not leave with at least (5) things. Guaranteed. It might add up to $10 or $100 , but rest assured you will be compelled to buy something. This is one of the few businesses I've encountered outside of the restaurant, hotel or bar industry where the business is the owner and every square inch of that business is straight from the owners heart and (awesome) sense of humor.
