I’m revising my 5 star review from6 years ago that read “After 20 years, I still love Room and Board! Excellent selection and service”. Today I say that after 26 years, I still love Room and Board furniture. However, there is absolutely no excuse for the pattern of poor and rude service in the Edina store. My husband and I walked around for 45 minutes without one word from their staff and this isn’t the first time it has happened. So we walked out without making our $13,000 sofa set purchase. SMH.

Went into the store today and not one person said anything to my mother and I. Extremely disappointed considering we’ve purchased many items from them and would have today if someone would have offered any type of service.

I stopped by for the first time today. I was looking for a few pieces of furniture. This was the 4th furniture store I stopped at today.The furniture is well made, you can feel the quality and difference compared to the other stores. The style of it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The furniture was mostly really comfortable. The knowledge of the staff is unmatched, they’ll go out of their way to help you.My only complaint is the price for the furniture. But I don’t think it’s overpriced, all their stuff seems to be made really well. You get what you pay for and this is definitely not cheap pressed wood like many other stores have.

I am a regular customer of Room & Board, and want to take a moment to highlight their very strong customer service and follow through. One of the recent items I purchased from them was an adjustable, electric wooden desk. It was a beautiful and expensive product, which was worth it to me as I was aiming for quality and durability over the long-term. I ended up misplacing the electric cord recently, which required extra steps from Room & Board to reorder and replace. Their customer service was excellent: they were communicative, responsive, and made every effort to replace the cord as quickly as was possible so I could resume use of the desk. I have had a similarly positive experience with any issues we have had with their furniture: they are responsive, kind, and work to make it right. After having purchased furniture in the last years from a few other local companies, Room & Board has stood out to us as excellent, and a trusted company. We will purchase our furniture from them moving forward.

This store and their furniture is both stylish and high quality. They have always been flexible on returns without questions. Quality issues, although few, have been dealt with expeditiously. We have furnished 4 homes from Room and Board and hope to buy more in the future.

My wife and I were looking for end tables and night stands. While we were there, we also meandered the entire store. Talk about BLAND, BASIC, and INSIPID inventory. What an insanely Dog Water experience, my guess the place hasn't gone out of business because people want to talk about how much money they wasted on their lack of taste.

If you want great quality and can spend some money on furniture, this is our top pick. For the cost, we feel it is a great value as far as quality built, comfort and style. The consultant was also very helpful with suggestions to consider.

I had a great experience shopping for a sofa here. Unlike many furniture stores, I felt no pressure to buy anything, even though I was there to view specific models I’d looked at online. The salesperson who assisted me, Louis, was friendly and helped me decide on a great option for my space. When I decided to browse around after purchasing my sofa, I wasn’t constantly badgered by salespeople - I was left to wander at my own pace, but employees seemed readily available if I did need help. All in all, a very relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be back!
