“Came in today with two bottles of wine that had been corked and were undrinkable. This happens very occasionally. The man at the counter treated me with great courtesy and sympathy and helped me exchange the wine. A much more pleasant experience than I've had elsewhere! Love this place. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Small, but well-stocked. I buy all my wine here.”
“We were dreading going to a liquor store the Saturday before Christmas, but popped into Edina Liquor store and actually had fun. The staff was genuinely excited to help and give recommendations. “Stopped in to get a last minute gift. A very helpful employee (sorry forgot his name - maybe Carlos?) directed me to the Prosecco and suggested a good but less expensive option. Then I asked where the gift bags were. He showed me but also said to ask at checkout to see the free gift bag. That lady at checkout was also very nice - and the free gift bag was excellent. A thick shiny material - not the flimsy Mylar stuff and a real ribbon. It made for a very nice gift. My first time there and I was totally impressed. Nice job all!”
