I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.

What a hidden gem. We happened across this furniture store while looking for BDI products. Very cool European furniture, and very well made. The sales associates are very helpful, especially Beth who went out of her way to help answer our questions. Highly recommend taking a look at this place.

Ordered teak bedroom furniture which did ship in about 10 days. The problem was in the delivery process. Werner moving shipped the furniture to Tennesse to Crosstown Courier. Crosstown was supposed to deliver my furniture and assemble it as we had paid for white glove delivery. My furniture sat in their warehouse for three weeks. Twice we were told delivery dates and times. Then we were told twice they couldn’t find our furniture. International design basically try to help but said there was nothing they could do ,but they would call Wener. They did NOTHING. It took 15 phone calls to crosstown and finally a call to the Corporate office to get furniture delivered. Delivered today Yippie. Wait no wait more problems …. I paid for white glove assembly and when the set was delivered, the movers said they could not assemble the bed. Due to packaging and power tools required. On the International design website it says “some assembly required.” We would have NEVER ordered something that required complete assembly. I really need the white glove fee refunded as I will have to pay someone to assemble the bed. Below is what was delivered and how it was delivered.

Nice selection, knowledgeable and informative staff.Ultimately had to bring my business elsewhere because they refused to honor a Stressless furniture promotion the way it was clearly written.I would return in the future, however.

This is a fantastic company to deal with. I initially found them because they had a recliner I wanted in stock and ready to ship when other retailers had a 12 week wait. After I ordered, communication was fantastic. There was a slight mix up about details of my order that was found when the chair was ready to be shipped. I got a call and email immediately to confirm all the details. The chair arrived in Oregon well packaged and I love it. I look forward to working with IDC for future furniture purchases.

I have been searching for years for this piece of furniture. I found it here! I drove four and half hours to pick it up. Within the two days I planned to pick it up I sent many text messages requesting pictures and asking many questions. I made several phone calls and Kathy was great! I even sent a text at 2am asking her something and she laughed when returning my text asking if I ever sleep. The whole experience from the time I found it and made the first phone call to driving off was professional and outstanding. I would highly recommend them. I also bought the art and some decor to make sure it fit in the room I was putting it in.

I live on the East Coast and saw a shelving unit I wanted that was listed at a discounted rate on the website. I called to make sure the product was still in stock and to get an estimated shipping time, and the customer service rep let me know that they only had one left in stock and that it was the floor sample. They went and checked on it and told me it was damaged and they'd rather not sell it given the damage. So in the end I didn't purchase from this store, but I'm really grateful they were honest about the condition of the piece. Without their customer service, I would've just ordered the piece and it would've either been such a pain to deal with an interstate furniture return or such a disappointment to have a damaged piece.

I had a wonderful experience working with International Design Center and i highly recommend. It took me about 6 months to decide on what I wanted, but once I figured out what my space could fit, it was perfect. They had the sofa I was looking for in stock and the coffee table. The process was very smooth from when I ordered to when I received the goods. I received my tracking information within 7 days of ordering and the delivery service came within 21 days. They brought it into my home and placed in my living room. (I used the $600.00 white glove service because I wasn't paying tax for being out of state and didn't want the hassle of bringing everything in myself) - Overall very excited about the quality of goods and will comeback.
