Overall, I’ve been very happy with the Edina location. Over the years I’ve purchased paint here as well as vertical blinds for my patio door.
I was a little disappointed in the installment of my blinds, the individual that came out to install them was in a big hurry and rushed through everything, That in itself wasn’t a problem, but one of the fasteners was not screwed in all the way, and is somewhat noticeable as you were coming and going out the patio door.
I had these installed in January, and figured somebody would reach out following up on the installation; unfortunately, there was no follow up.

I called on 12/29/2023 with a question about consolidating my like gallons of paint to quarts and printing stickers for the new cans. The lady (whose name I didn't catch) told me what could be done. I came in a few hours later and Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He got me the empty cans I needed and printed off 11 stickers (11 of 12 paint cans were purchased at Hirshfield's) then directed me on how to handle the 12th. I asked about recycling the empties I had at home, and he said bring them in! I called ahead and came in right before the store closed and Jeff and his co-worker were there to greet me and help bring my cans in and hold the door. They didn't mind the store was about to close, they were accommodating.I've been in customer service for more than 20 years and it's hard to find good service post-pandemic. They weren't upset I was there right before the store closed and were willing to work with me. Jeff and the entire Hirshfield staff were willing to assist in the holiday spirit. I can't thank them enough and will continue to use their products as I've done in the past...paint, wallpaper, and blinds.

Called to inquire about limewash (for bricks). The associate I spoke with was friendly and highly knowledgeable. He spent ten minutes on the phone with me answering my many questions. When I told him about my specific wall color, he was able to give me limewash recommendations on the spot. Very impressed and grateful.

This is the best Hirshfield's I've ever been to. The customer service is so spectacular that I drive an hour and a half up from Rochester to get my paint from this location. Jeff, the manager generously mixed a custom paint color that no other Hirshfield's would make for us. In a world where customer service seems non-existent, this place is a breath of fresh air. I will continue to make the drive to this Hirshfield's simply to support their hard work and excellent service. Thank you again, Jeff and support staff!

Wonderful service and talented staff! The employee I worked with produced an exact match for the paint color that I needed and was even able to match the sheen. He also gave me some great advice about stippling the paint on the wall to make the finish blend in with the original finish. I could not be happier with the experience.

Stopped into the Edina location this morning for a wall color consultation for my upstairs bathroom. Michelle greeted me & asked how she could help. I showed her the new floor tile, picture with vanity color, shared bathroom & closet doors are maple, bathtub & shower tile are white. And Michelle immediately started gathering color samples that would work well. I would like to commend her for taking the time and helping me pick out just the right color. Additionally, she helped me pick out the grout color for my floor tile. Michelle has a well-developed eye for color and am very thankful for her great assistance today!
