Meat should be priced according to its weight.
The true cost of these meats would be pennies on the dollar in a society where the federal reserve and congress were not devaluing the currency at every turn. If you are going to be involved in such an industry, then you ought to be informing the consumer of the root cause of these astronomical prices (our ancestors used to eat these for free because the animals were allowed to roam as they wished and could be harvested at will)
Thruout history these vital foods were systematically monopolized by the so called elite, caviar for example used to be fertility food fed to tribal women 6-12, months before birth because it was the difference between a healthy baby and not. Somewhere along the way, a food that is hyperabundant became a luxury food. Same all over the planet with so many different foods.
If you are going to be in this industry and take up space where animals used to roam free and offer their products to whomever could catch them, then help educate so we can return to this abundance. Grassfed meat would be pennies on the dollar if a)no fractional reserve banking practices, and b)it got the same level of subsidies as corn, soy, sugar, etc, and c) even if it didn't get those subsidies, but these poisonous monocrops didn't either, then prices would be much closer in disparity.
If you are in this industry and make excuses for why you are not helping to educate so the consumer can further make helpful choices in our complex web of socioeconomics, then this is the kind of review you merit. Absolutely disappointing. I don't strictly blame you for the sky high prices, but without the factor of education, especially when it's just a one-time cost of slapping a little explanation and information under the frequently asked questions section of a website, then the excuses are just that. ☀️?❤️????

Amazing beef!! And such great people with stellar customer service!! I only eat grass-fed beef for health reasons, and the beef from GFCC is so much better than I can find in stores! I use their ground beef all the time and love the tenderloins, the roasts, the stew meat, and even tried the steak tips - made a super-tender stir-fry with broccoli and carrots and onions. Will definitely be getting those again! I seriously cannot say enough good things about this company, their people, and their products!!!

I have a monthly subscription. 11 lbs each month. Every month is different, hubs says it’s like mystery gift. Roasts, flank, rib tips hamburger and more! You can really taste the difference from box chain stores. Highly recommend!

If you're not buying grass fed free range beef from the Grass Fed Cattle Co you are truly missing out. Hands down best beef I have purchased. It can be challenging buying grass fed beef from your local grocery store or butcher shop. As soon as I opened the box I knew I had purchased a far superior beef. I cooked a NY strip last night for dinner and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

I didn't even know there was a location for this until I googled "beef bones near me" (I am in the process of making some pho). I needed a LOT of beef bones and I have to say what I got was pretty solid! And the price wasn't too bad either.Literally just came by, picked up my order, and left.Thanks! We have enjoyed 3 orders so far which include assortments of both pork and beef in various cuts. Some of the notable characteristics are almost no smell to the raw meat and incredibly healthy color. This is a top notch product offered with great customer service.

If I had written a review after the first order we placed, I would have given it 5 stars. Beef was the best tasting meat that we had ever had, and had a rich buttery flavor. Meat was processed very well, and customer service was great, so we ordered a second time, and had a completely different experience. This round of beef has a weird taste to it, that we would describe as gamey. We cook the steaks, and throw out the leftovers, because none of us are willing to eat them. We will only use the hamburger if making spaghetti or tacos, so we can hide the flavor. For hamburgers, we go to Costco to buy more hamburger meat, while we have a freezer full, and that is upsetting. The steaks look like they took whatever is leftover from someone else's order, that had too many ounces, they chopped off the tip of it, and packaged it to give to us. We were given these little leftover steaks, rather than the full steaks we were given the first time. It took me an hour to get the membrane off of the skirt steak, which I did not have to do before. I don't know what happened, but we have a bunch of meat, that we really do not want to eat, but spent too much to let it go to waste. We will definitely not risk ordering from them again.

I needed a different source for grass fed beef when I had ran out of the two previous cows I bought from different places which have tasted great.. I thought I would support more locally and came across grass fed cattle co. The delivery was prompt and meat was packaged well. Some of the steak portions were questionable as they were very small cuts. Unfortunately the cow I receive was really gamey. Every cut of the beef had that gamey taste no matter how we cooked it. We probably wasted about a third of the meat due to not being able to eat it. Trying to use up what we bought has been a challenge since the gaminess has turned us off.

Haven't tried the meat yet, but the customer service is amazing! Picked up our first order today and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Happy to be able to buy directly from farmers and that there are local farmers like them using regenerative practices!
