This is the second time in a year we have used the services of Gentle Transitions with Elizabeth L and her team of amazing people. So easy to work and they all care so much about making the new apartments easy to navigate for my 80yo parents. And they are so great about design and making space look beautiful. Worth every penny!

I had to move my 96 year old mom to assisted living in Minnesota and I live in Florida. Getting her stuff together and packed was a breeze with the help of Victoria and her team. They did a tremendous job assisting with a difficult time and process.

Our experience with Gentle Transitions exceeded all expectations! Our move manger Tammy was simply brilliant in her planning and execution. The sorting and prepack team were so helpful, I can’t think what might have happened had we not listened to their advice The movers and unpack team were equally efficient. We are a retired couple and this was our first move in 50 years….we may not move again, but if we do, Gentle Transitions will be our first call.

What a horrible experience! I do not recommend them at all! They left behind so much of my things, like my drapes! They just stuffed things into cupboards and closets with no organization at all. I finally got my kitchen organized with paid help only to discover my precious recipe box with all my recipes is missing! And other kitchen items, too. I paid nearly $ 4,000.00 for their services. Not worth it! Try a different company for helping seniors!

I was very concerned about how I was going to make the move for my mom work. She was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's and had been declining to a point where we needed to get her into a senior living facility fast. Gentle Transitions was about to schedule a move on VERY short notice, and when I got there the movers had not only made my mom comfortable with what was happening but had her laughing and in a great mood. They created a beautiful floor plan for the new place, and had everything set up wonderfully by the time that we got there. It was worth every penny and more - I could not recommend them highly enough!

Our project manager, Monica Holden, called me on the weekend to start my mother and father's move. My father was very concerned about making a transition that wasn't his choice. On moving day, despite a blizzard, every bit of the move was handled with the utmost care and respect. My father is happy as a clam in his new assisted living apartment. I couldn't have asked for a more professional team.

We used Gentle Transitions to move my ninety year old parents. From our first contact, they were outstanding. My parents were reluctant to move and have a tough time navigating most things. At every step the GT team offered help and encouragement. The job was divided into small steps which enabled my folks to feel calmer. The project manager, Dana, immediately forged a relationship with all of us. Linda, who helped with the sorting was patient and efficient. The team of workers on packing day and moving day could not have been better. Lastly the actual movers were great too and went out of their way to be helpful.
It is so rare today to find a service that exceeds expectations, but Gentle Transitions did exactly that. I marvel at their skill and patience. We could not have done this without them.

I want to give a big shout-out to the team at Gentle Transitions that helped my mother settle into her new home in Minnesota! Since we were coming from out-of-state, GT did a great job of handling arrangements on this end-- unloading the truck, unpacking boxes and making my mother's apartment feel like home. When she arrived, it was already decorated, pictures hung and many surprising details attended to. It was the perfect first impression for a new home! It's also amazing how the Gentle Transitions "team in purple" is so well-respected by the staff at the assisted living facility. I was told GT is the go-to team for getting things done and treating senior clients well! That was certainly our experience! Thank you to Deb, Steve and Jennifer, as well as the movers you hired!

This company and their team are angels and answer to prayers! From the moment Jen connected with our mom, to Delores and her sweet and attentive gift of detail was beyond words to explain! Their team the day of packing and moving felt like family! It was comfortable and something our parents needed. It was a fast 2 months getting our parents ready for a massive new normal! Truly the gift only God knew our parents and us kids needed. I told my husband I want to hire gentle transitions when and if we move again! (We are in our 40s! ??♀️) The highest praise for this company and their commitment to ensure all is well! Our parents felt honored and fully communicated with from start to finish!

Can't say enough good things about the Gentle Transitions team that handled my move. Elizabeth, thank you so much for guiding me through the process. The sorters ( Terri and Susan) were so efficient in helping me determine what things to donate. The packing crew and the movers were very efficient. I highly recommend Gentle Transitions. Made the move so easy and kept my stress level very low.

We used Gentle Transitions this past summer to move our Grandpa from Inver Grove Heights to Plymouth. He knew it was time to move and Gentle Transitions made the move a breeze. We cannot thank them enough for the fabulous work they did and the amount of stress, work and time they saved us! Highly recommend their services; great communication, quality work and very professional. It was great to bring Grandpa to the new apartment and feel like home. Worth every penny!

Gentle transitions was so easy to work with. We had very short notice to get my mom moved into her new place and they were able to make it happen for us. The team helped sort and pack everything we needed and with the movers, put it all in place in mom's new space. They took care of everything. When they left, everything was unpacked and all of the pictures were hung. The room looks lovely and mom is thrilled.

Oh my gosh, Michelle! You seriously knocked it out of the ball park!!! It’s been so hard being so far away and not able to be there to help get Mom situated in her new environment. I can’t even begin to tell you how relieved I am to see Mom’s room look so cozy and beautiful and know that while she has forgotten so much around her, she has years of memories that surround her as daily reminders.
