My girlfriend and I had the great pleasure to work with Lisa Thies on our recent visit to the Gabberts store located in Bloomington. We were visiting the store as we were looking to purchase some major items for our newly purchased condo unit in Arizona. Lisa has been with Gabberts for 40+ years and it showed. She was able to quickly lead us around the large showroom and show us a variety of furniture pieces based on her assessment of what we were looking for. Working with someone of her experience made the entire process so easy and I would highly recommend you specifically request her services if you have any furniture needs. Approached sale rep re item that was related to discontinued product purchased some time ago. She was able to work with manufacturer and secure product (which has to be made) and we will receive it in a reasonable amount of time.

I bought an entire bedroom set here for my new house. The bed frame was out of stock and I was told when deciding to buy that it would be delivered in May (I purchased the furniture in February). I found the same set online, and they had it in stock but I chose to buy it here anyways since I trusted delivery would be better from a local store than online. Well May is here and I received no update so I called the store and was told that something went sideways in getting the piece in. I informed the Gabberts associate I was extremely frustrated by both the tardiness of the bed (I would have bought it online had I been told August would be the delivery date, not May) and that no one had called to communicate this update. I asked to have a manager return my call. Well 7 days have passed and no manager has called me back. I will never shop here again, you would think paying more for furniture would get you better customer service.
